Grand, with a vaulted ceiling arched high, painted with constellations and mythic beasts, towering shelves rising like walls, carved from dark oak and lined with books. “Here.” He pulls out an old book, its cover black and edged in gold. At the center gleams a golden wolf’s head, bared teeth frozen in a snarl. Behind it, a raven spreads its wings wide, poised as if descending from the sky. Grimm opens it. The pages are an old, yellowish color, but intact. “Most of the Raven Wolf King books here are written to sound like fantasy, as if he were just a fairy tale. This one’s the one you want. Depicts date‑to‑date events.”

I won't be able to update this book tomorrow because I'll be doing a quick edit to the work before I resume writing. I promise "The wolf Prince" will be back in a matter of a day ( 21/07/2021). Lucian promised he'd tie her to the bed and keep her there until he found Freya's killer. Ravena could normally see She was in the dark, but the snow was blinding her. She wandered towards the direction of the smoke from a chimney. She tripped knee-deep in snowdrifts more than half the time, and even though she attempted to keep her bare hands in her pockets, she had to support herself continually to keep from falling. She'd been at it for at least an hour and wasn't sure whether she was getting any closer to discovering the town. Autumn was unquestionably her season. Winter was the season for Arctic wolves and polar bears. Sheesh.

Suddenly, one of the wolves—the biggest one, with jet black fur and yellow eyes—lunged for Lucas, jaws snapping. “No!” I cried out, rushing forward. I pulled my bear spray out, but tripped over a tree root in the process and went careening onto my hands and knees. The can went rolling across the forest floor. The wolves froze, staring down at the can. Time seemed to slow as those yellow eyes looked at the can, then at me, then at each other. And… If I didn’t know better, I would have said that one of the wolves intentionally kicked the can into the brush.

He's letting me know he could kill me but he isn't yet. "Why would I believe anything you say?" I whisper, meeting his eyes again. Hate pours from them. "In the books mates would never hurt each other." He smirks. "Life isn't a story book, Princess. Mates kill each other. Mates hurt each other. If a she wolf doesn't submit to her mate, she gets hurt. If she does not obey, she gets hurt. Understood?" He pushes his knee into my thigh. I bite my lip to keep from crying out but he sees the pain in my eyes. He chuckles low.

River's eyes scanned the shelves, searching for something to distract her from Thane's insult and Axel's threat. Her hand settled on a worn leather volume, its title etched in gold lettering: "The Way of the Wolf". River's heart swelled with curiosity as she opened the book, releasing the scent of aged paper. As she began to read, Selene's presence receded, her anger slowly giving way to River's calm determination. The words on the page spoke directly to River's soul, reminding her of the strength and resilience that lay within.

She found the section on history books first, she reached for an old book that caught her eyes, with a thick brown, worn cover and a picture of a wolf on it, one that looked quite similar to the painting of the wolf on the wall in the living room. How strange? She took it immediately, having found her next read, she skipped out of the library and back to her room. She sat curled up in bed by the window, lunch was served by a servant as promised, she ate and stuck to get book. This book, titled, 'The Wolf Within' she had never really read anything like it. It seemed more like a fictional write up, than a history book. It talked about a wolf that was embedded into the souls of 'special people'

With another growl of frustration, he hurled the book across the room again. Mark rose this time, walked over, and picked up the book. He turned it in his hands, reading the title. “One Werewolf, One Unique Being.” His brows pulled together. Strange. Everyone knew this already. Every wolf carried a scent that was theirs alone. A truth they were taught since childhood. He flipped through the pages slowly, then closed the book with a quiet thud. He set it gently back on the table. Then he walked over and sat beside Edward. “What is it?” Mark asked softly.

I am going to read the book titled ‘Soulful bond’ by a writer who calls himself ‘Gee Wolf’ I am finally going to find out if I can explain the first two days I spent at the pack house.
