The Vampire's Intern
I heard the crunch of breaking bone and winced.
“Bastién.” Sienna purred, amused “You will kill him if you keep going.”
Sebastian made an animalistic noise that raised the hackles on the back of my neck. I watched, wide-eyed as he snarled something at the man. The man spat something back, and Sebastian recoiled. The distraction was enough for the assailant to slip free.
He slammed his head against Sebastian’s nose with an audible crunch, and then in the next moment, he was gone, disappearing down the mouth of the alleyway. Sienna made a disappointed tsking noise and chased after him, running effortlessly in six inch heels.
