Did he come here to finish things already? Slowly, Heaven stood up from the couch. She moved carefully toward the corner of the room where she kept a baseball bat beside a small cabinet. Her fingers wrapped tightly around it. She swallowed hard before slowly approaching the door. The handle moved again as Heaven raised the bat tightly with both hands. The door finally opened and immediately, she swung the baseball bat with full force. “Whoa—!” The person at the door quickly dodged backward in shock. “What the hell?!” Rowland shouted loudly.

"Nothing." She tightened her lips as the color drained out of her face. She must have thought I would jump at the offer like some hungry wolf or something. Sorry to disappoint. "You have two minutes later. If you still have something else to say, lay your cards," I told her and she clenched her fist. Adjusting her sitting position, she cleared her throat. “You’ve made your point, Heaven. I have a better offer though." I lifted my brows. "I know you want to get back at Atlas. You've been trying to do that all this while. The world sees him for the mess he is now. And I can’t undo what he did to you. But I can offer you something… rare.”

Henry*** The sky bled fire—crimson tendrils streaking across the heavens like the last breath of a dying god. I almost shouted at her. "Shhhh, don't shout. I turned off the second call indication as it was getting annoying when we talk." she said. "Are you for real? Second call intimation is invented to let you know that there is someone else trying to talk to you." I said. "Pch, I know, de. Stop taking classes. Ok tell me, what now?" She asked me, pulling me to her and making me sit beside her. "Mom was talking about an alliance to me, right? It looks like our horoscopes match perfectly." I told her.

I hold CJ's hand as I follow him to his house closely. We find Heaven in the living room perusing over a wedding magazine. "My love!" Heaven welcomes CJ. "Don't touch me!" he hisses. CJ rushes upstairs. Heaven smirks at me. "You got what you wanted finally, huh? CJ is all yours now and you won but let's see who'll get the last laugh! And it's certainly not you. And you know what I'll do when I get the last laugh, I'll crush you to pieces and make sure you never come back again to get between us. "

She had been betrayed once before, and she refused to let it happen again. As she walked out of Ethan's life, Lily felt a sense of sadness but also a sense of relief.
