“We find Jax.” Chase rolled his eyes. “Of course we do.” They moved through the ruins like ghosts, boots crunching on broken glass. The air was heavy, charged with the faint hum of buried machinery. It didn’t take long before they found the access hatch — hidden beneath a rusted metal plate. Sienna crouched, wiping off the dirt. The lock was biometric, glowing faint blue. She pulled out a scanner from her bag. “Please tell me you can hack that,” Chase muttered.

Lily turned and walked out. I watched her leave, then pulled out my phone. I opened a secure line and made a call. "Phoenix? This is Aurora Arkin." It was the first time I had ever spoken my true last name inside Thorne Industries. "Yes. I need to consult you on a unilateral breach of secret investment contracts. Evidence? I have it all. Every contract, every wire transfer." I hung up and opened a hidden wall safe in my office. Inside were all the investment contracts signed under the "Arkin Trust."

I nodded. He faced Willam. " I have let the security team know, the file that went missing. We're you able to find the black box data alright?" Willam's face changed at the mention of that, worried? " On the next prosecution investigation, I think we can use them as data." He replied. I let out a chuckle. " I have a meeting so I have to go." Then he left. Jesse walked in immediately.
