Chapter 2: Something Of A Fresh Start The Roadside Shop, Main Dirt Road, Fallon Creek, Michigan.... The wind was blowing quite a bit as the red station wagon pulled toward the inner portion of town as both Casey and his mother looked around at the beautiful surroundings in awe. The brooding teen was at least pleased to note that the town had been more or less a smaller city and not some forgotten farmland in the middle of nowhere. There were stores and many other buildings that seemed to put him at ease, the only difference is that everyone would know everyone no matter who came and went in town. Setting the picture to the side, Violet looked at the other things that were inside the drawer. The first thing that caught her eye was a small black book. The page Violet opened was a list. There was a name of a city, a first and last name, then a number, and finally an address. This had to be what Jeremy was looking for. She set the book to the side and looked at the rest of the contents. Some of them were letters discussing this Richard Morgan she’d heard so much about. Whoever he was, he was not only a thorn in the alpha’s side but a lot many other people.

There was an underlying message. "What do you mean?" he asked. I looked. "You know a couple of secrets?" I stared and got lost in my mind for a moment. Did I know secrets? Hell yeah I did. I knew who Amy and Mya's mother was. I knew the truth about baby Aaron's paternity test. And I knew about Chad and Amy's secret romance. So yeah...I knew some secrets. I looked over at Justin. "Did you know who Chad's first girlfriend was?" He looked at me for a moment, and then looked away.

Hackett said as I turned to look at Anthony. "Anthony, what did Mrs. Hackett say just now?" Anthony's gaze darkened slightly, but he still forced a smile. "She was just complimenting your looks." I shot him a bashful look while giggling softly. I decided to stay silent. Mrs. Hackett's house was pretty close to where we were. Ten minutes later, we arrived at her house. It was a tiny, rundown brick house. Mrs. Hackett had Anthony put the stuff in the eastern room. After that, she took my hand and pulled me into the kitchen while mumbling words of gratitude.
