See You In Next Life Novels & Stories

Only one text immediately caught my attention. Unknown Number I hope you're happy now. I hope yes to make the most of the destruction of my life. I'll see you when I see you.

As my spirit was starting to fade, memories flickered through my mind like an old movie reel. I saw the tender moments with my parents, the happy times I spent with Daniel, and the overwhelming despair I felt as the fire consumed me. Regardless, everything was gone the moment I died. "Daniel, if there is a next life, I hope we never meet again."

I know it is beautiful. but you are here because according to our law. you get two options 1. spend your time here then be reborn again and this cycle will go on or 2. your dead friend tells me that she going to wait for you in the second world. she was trapped in the devil castle. if you protect her and reborn in that world. your memories will be washed away and you will only remember your goal to protect her. but she remembers everything

"Find me where?" "Across time." His hand came up to my face, and his thumb traced the line of my cheekbone with infinite gentleness. "She taught me to read the marks that her predecessors taught her. She showed me that there were certain deaths that were actually doorways. Certain ends that were beginnings. And she showed me how to see you in the next life, waiting to be found." I closed my eyes. "Is this real?" I asked. "Yes." "How can you be sure?"

“There will be no third revival. The next time we meet, you will accept what has happened and begin your life anew inside the Abyss as all souls must.” The thought of that alone filled me with dread but I knew returning here would be inevitable. Death was a normal part of life. However, I wouldn’t fight back next time. No, I’d allow myself to give in and enjoy the happy memories of my life. Hopefully, by then, there would be several more to add to the collection.

The energy bounced back like it was reflected off a field. "What was that?" Natalia asked. "What did you just try to do?" "I tried to heal you." "I'm already dead. I have to return to my realm to heal." "Wait, can you die?" She nodded curtly. I pressed a clean towel to her wounds. "What happens after you die?" She shrugged. "It's the same as with humans. They don't know about contracts. So there may be something better like the next level heaven or hell, or maybe we just stop existing."

’ “Wha-“ ‘But little soul, this is the reincarnation of your miserable life. Which means this should be your happy life.’ “Huh?” ‘Little pure soul, in this world, every created life can only have two lifetimes. One filled with more misery and the other filled with more happiness. You met me before in your miserable life.’ “My miserable life? Are you referring to my past life from the future?” ‘Yes.’ “What?! When on Earth did I meet you?” ‘Oh, your dog husband is already looking at you. I can’t risk my temple being ravaged by that wild animal. You better go back before he shows his claws and canines.’

I set them beside four unclaimed bodies. "Don't have families either?" I murmured, my chest quietly aching. I didn't have one too. After I died, I'd end up in the same cold room. Burned with the rest. When the last wisp of smoke faded, every trace of me would disappear from this world. "If there's a next life," I whispered, "let's be family. At least then, someone will come for our bodies."

I didn't know. "Great. Then where else would I be travelling to?" "Ocean, then, fire and then-" "Wait, fire? What does that stands for now, huh?" "Nothing. Just fire." "Oh." He continued immediately without even considering my singled statement reply. "Then, the woods and then, the next life." "So, like the after life or something?" "No. No one has ever been to the afterlife unless they were dead." He replied, his brows sliding upwards in confusion. How was I supposed to know that next life and after life were different!
