To be honest, I'm relieved because I'm not sure if I'm going to have hope once more if I keep talking like this. After packing, I lay down on the bed and flipped through the book Margaret had given me. The book mainly introduces the primitive werewolf tribe. It was said that the world's first werewolf tribe originated from the army of a certain country. They were ordered to attend a diplomatic event with a friendly country, but the king of that country added poison containing wolfbane to the silver goblets. After they were poisoned to death, the bodies were thrown into the forest, baptized by the moonlight, and seven days later, on the night of the full moon, they woke up.

For werewolves, the full moon is a sacred occasion. A werewolf pack congregates for their own rites in the same manner that humans might dress nicely and convene at a place of worship. The location where we meet for the Trialblazer pack is roughly an hour and a half northwest of Toronto. Two hundred acres of pristine territory where we can securely wander as the monsters we become every full moon were once home to a pack long before Canada was known as New France, at the time when our ancestors fled northern Europe in longboats.
