Novel & Cerita Selena's Secret Book Summary

Selena’s POV I entered Raymond’s room first and I closed the door behind me before I rushed toward his study to see if I would find anything meaningful on his computer or hidden inside any book in the study but it was hard finding anything with shaky hands because I was scared he would come in to catch me snooping through his things and that was going to be bad for me. Still in the middle of searching while I looked over my shoulder occasionally to see if he was coming, I stumbled upon a book whose pages were all cut to make a hole in the middle of the book when I opened it and inside the book were tiny papers that looked like they held passwords.

"I feel so suffocated that I had to lock myself up to prevent my anger from reaching its peak and me grasping her hair and pulling it out. Ugh!, I wanna kill her '' Selena ranted and gritted her teeth. "And also– " Can you let me talk?" her friend interrupted, obviously tired of talks. " Yes, speak" "It's actually a top secret party and you shouldn't tell your parents or brother about it. It is top secret, I repeat" "Why is it top secret, Marie?" Selena whispered into the speaker of the phone. "It's top secret because we are going to be doing a lot of dangerous things tonight" her voice sounded pretty husky like their deeds were going to be really dirty.

Scarlett asked, playfully teasing Selena. Selena's eyes widened instantly, and she pointed at Scarlett's face with the fork in her hand. "You! You're the writer! I've seen your photo in the novel you wrote!" Selena exclaimed hysterically. Although Selena didn't follow various series of novels written by Scarlett, she had read two of them because they had an exciting storyline. Scarlett even knew that she was Karina's favorite author. "Oh my goodness! I never thought I would meet you here!" Selena said excitedly.

CHAPTER SIX BACK FROM THE DEAD ~ Third person pov ~ Selena after some conviction took her friends to Gina's room, after turning the room upside down, Selena realized it was Gina who has been taking all her books and laptops she trashed and for some reason they couldn’t find Gina’s mobile phone and the money she’s been saving. She was pissed and wanted to vent it out so bad. "So, this bitch has been studying behind our backs and to think she’s interested in business. Dad and mum must hear this” she stormed out.

Selena almost cursed as she hurried over to Rufus. When Rufus skinny fingers picked up the book, he scowled as he flipped through a few pages. Selena hurriedly rushed over, snatched the book back, and hid it behind her. Her face turned red, and she stuttered as she spoke, "This, this isn't mine. Louisa must have included it as part of the birthday gift." After saying that, she nervously licked her lips and looked at him expectantly. Rufus didn't move his eyes, and his expression grew darker, concealing a desire that she couldn't comprehend. His Adam's apple bobbed, and his thin lips moved, "Alright."

"Not a chance, that girl caused a little scene when Caspian proposed to Anica. She also gives flirty looks" I remember that event, Selena must be a talkative person. When they became friends, she must have told her secrets, Zarah is not that type to tell so many things about her and I am just glad that Selena might be becoming her human diary. I just looked at the two talks, honestly, my mind was still hooked by the fact that there is still a possibility of our videos being leaked to the public. The sky seems to be gloomy, and I think that it will pour rain later. Zy must have also felt my sudden feeling of crying.

If Elias or my so-called parents wanted my forgiveness, then they should be ready for what’s coming. “Today is for you okay? Let’s not talk about me” “Aiden.. “Please, Selena” I gently cut her off, “how about you do this after you have had enough fun for today? Let’s not spoil the mood okay?” She heaved a sigh and didn’t say anything else, I was grateful for that. A few minutes later, I pulled up in front of a bookstore and her eyes opened wide in surprise. Yes, I knew that was going to happen. Selena loved to read books especially books from famous medical practitioners, both traditional and contemporary medicine. She could live and die in it.

Selena passed the whole morning thinking about the ambush. She was starting to get suspicious of everything and everyone. Why would someone try to ambush her? Did it have something to do with her powers? Her grandmother insisted that she kept that a secret, which made a lot of sense, since they were a threat even for Selena herself. While leaving class, Selena had to stop at the library to grab some books, and Maddie had to go home in a hurry because she had a job interview scheduled.
