“My goodness, you scared the life out of me!” Aunt Caroline was a short and plump woman in her mid-forties. Her hair was always dyed blonde because she took after her idol Madonna. Selena Davi was a legendary actress at such a young age, accomplishing so much that It was almost unbelievable. She was incredibly beautiful, She was already engaged to Alex, world wide popular celebrity model who every living being envied and Every girl dreamed of having, She had won several awards.. But she never expected her best friend to turn against her like that. She had been nothing but kind and compassionate towards her. If I was going to get any form or iota of help from these people, I might as well be on my best behaviour. I gave her a faint smile instead. "What brings you here after so long?", her irritating voice rang in my ear. I didn't know if I felt comfortable saying the reason for my visit to her.

Selena muttered, staring at the crescent moon from where she sat with a stick of cigarette stuck between her fingers. "Hungry?" Gina asked. "No," Selena bluntly replied, taking a drag at the cigarette. "Cruella called," Gina muttered as she dropped the glass of alcohol before her. Selena hummed and shook off the ashes of the cigarette, her eyes still fixed on the lonely moon. Gina noticed the calmness and followed her eyes. "It is just like you. Beautiful, alone, and different," Gina said, smiling. Selena finally looked away and tilted her head to the side, her eyes piercing into Gina's eyes.

Katarina POV “Hold still, bella,” one of the beauticians whispered, tugging my hair gently as hot air blasted against my scalp. “I am holding still,” I muttered, rolling my eyes. Selena laughed from her chair. “You’re the worst client ever.” Selena groaned beside me, legs propped up on the velvet stool like she owned the damn palace. Her silk robe slipped down one shoulder, her glass of champagne already half-empty. I laughed through my own blush being blended.

I wonder why she's hiding her identity. "Today I have witnessed your resistance towards death. I'm impressed. No life has been taken, thanks to the three of you. But I just want to warn you all, everything in this game is real and unreal. Congrats, you made it to the real game." he said then it went off again. I felt the chills ran down my spine. "Hey, congrats..." one of the contenders approached me. She has bob short hair and is wearing glasses. "Oh, hello! Congrats too!" I greeted. She smiled at me and pulled something from her back.

SELENA "Miss Comia, what is this young outsider doing inside my classroom?" asked Professor Garcia. Selena was about to excuse herself but, then Evil Spawn entered the room with a patched nose. "I'd be escorting them out, Professor." He grabbed them both by the arm and yanked them out of the room. They were welcomed with nosy onlookers. Cynthia was too out of it that she couldn't even raise her gaze. Selena's attention was focused on the changes that had occurred in her friend's façade overnight. She's not a brunette, but her hair color has changed. The scar on her arm, which Selena knew when she had acquired, has been erased. She seemed taller and more… radiant.

ASHANTI'S POV. “Selena!” Alpha Reagan calls in a tone depicting concern as he steps into the ward. I follow suit. He walks over to the bed to meet her while I stop in my tracks and watch their interaction from afar. Selena is sitting upright on the bed, sobbing quietly as Alpha Reagan perches by her side and turns to face her. The first peculiar thing I notice about her is her blonde hair. It's long and looks a bit dishevelled probably because of everything that has been on in the last few hours. Alpha Reagan's presence seems to have aggravated her condition because right now, her sobs are no longer softs, but violent and tears are streaming down from her eyes like a waterfall.

It was a bright yet warm day, and just as the name of the restaurant, everywhere smelt like lilies and sweet. Selena was dressed in a white dress which stopped mid thigh with a chiseled neck and her wavy hair was packed up in a high ponytail. Her make up was light as usual, and she looked pretty and the fact that as she sat before me ranting, I couldn’t help but laugh so hard my tummy hurt. We talked about her day at the park, meeting Amber Quinn who had shot a text about wanting to meet later this evening or tomorrow evening as a double date and Selena had no idea on how to respond to her.
