“Selena,” I said, motioning for her to join me. “What’s on your mind?”
She stepped onto the balcony, her hands clasped tightly in front of her. “I’ve been analyzing the symbols from the wolf’s body,” she began. “They’re older than anything I’ve studied before, and their magic… it doesn’t align with the Moon Goddess’s energy.”
