My skin felt dry, neglected. I hadn’t bothered with anything other than basic hygiene in days. It had been all about fighting, training, surviving. You know I can’t produce the documents, so you intentionally try to stir crap. I think the one who took the documents must be you!"

I turned my phone to ‘do not disturb’ and shut it down. Victoria has already done a lot of damage to my image. And I don't think she'll stop anytime soon. My heart sank as I thought of it. All of this happened to me because I trusted and loved my husband. I placed my phone on the drawer so I won't be tempted to look at it and see what people are gonna say about my issue. Tonight, I wanted to know everything about myself, even though there's another person involved. I have to keep in mind that I'm going to dinner with Cale as friends or acquaintances or whatever you call it. Nothing more. I don't wanna open my heart just to feel the same thing again.
