He found it okay to live like that.
But for the first time in his life, he saw that he had done useless things, destroyed himself, but regretted it for nothing. He lay sprawled out on the undulating stone path with grass growing everywhere, hiding his head under the shade of a tree, avoiding the sunlight, watching the clouds fly by slowly. At first, he felt awkward and unfamiliar, afraid of getting dirty by the soil. Some minutes later, he got used to the scent of flowers and earth. The space was quiet, he could start work at any time, but he didn't have any interest or motivation to start, so he gave up.
