SINFUL DESIRES

SINFUL DESIRES

Chapter 1: The Bookseller Sera had sold Delphine Arquette’s books for three years before she met her. The first novel arrived on a Tuesday with the new releases, a small print run from a literary press, a cover almost aggressively quiet. Sera read the first page standing at the receiving desk. Then she went to the back office and read the next forty pages before remembering she had a shop to open. She ordered twenty copies. She sold them all in six weeks, one by one, hand-selling them to the right customers the way you hand-sell a book you have read yourself and need other people to read.

“Hey, it is part of the image.” “I invest my money well,” Seb said. “I bought one hundred copies of Em’s last book, once I get them signed, I will resell them at a profit. That is called making your money work for you.” Emily laughed and shrugged. “Won’t hurt my sales, either.”

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

"The first book of the Nora Vale Imprint series is doing well. People are buying it because they like it, not because of any advertising. They are telling their friends about it." Elena put down the cloth she was using to clean the case. She walked over to the screen. Look at the numbers. They were going up and up. For fifteen years Elena had been looking at numbers on the computer. She would see how many people were reading her work and how long they would read it.. This was different. This was people buying a real book. It was not a popular thing on the internet. It was people who really liked her story. They were buying the book because it was good, not because someone had paid for it to

The Three Little Guardian Angels

The Three Little Guardian Angels

Freyja fell silent for a moment before saying, “That’s because I want to know the value of these books.” Putting it on sale on a publishing house was indeed different from releasing it on a platform. After all, only the best quality of books could be put on sale. The director nodded and said, “I can try to distribute and sell your book first, but let me make it clear for you. If the sales of your books aren't satisfactory, then I'm afraid I have to terminate our cooperation. However, if the response is good, we'll sign a contract and split the profits 50-50. What do you think?”

The best book I've read ...️. Such a brilliant masterpiece! Even the supporting characters' lovelife were included in the plot. Even there's more than 2 thousand chapters the author never cease to amaze me, the plot is not boring at all ...️

That way, I don't miss any questions. Q: Why not finish the book here? A: I would have, but the response is poor. In addition to that, I'm making so little from having it here. Having a community of my own gives me better access and control of my income. Ream allows me to keep 80% of whatever readers pay for my book. Q: Will the books ever be published? A: Yes, but under new titles. When we have enough members at Maraville to cover the costs of editing, formatting, and designing, that's my next goal.

Though I am checking, I am asking him. “We are launching 30 exclusive books along with famous writers' books as non-exclusive.” He is reporting as a professional. “Hmm. What about ebooks and paperbacks?” I need that update as well. “Ebooks are ready and paperback, we didn’t do that to avoid expenses. According to the demands, we will move.” I nod. “What about Abigail? Did you contact Ema? How’s she?” She left our home yesterday. “She is doing well. Why did she leave suddenly?” His question has a point.

Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.
Anie Angel
The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

“But I thought it was my whole income. Apparently, it’s just my income for the month. I made a lot more during release. And that’s how we have up to $60,000. Can you believe that, my prince?” “I can. You’re a bestseller, Angel.” “You helped,” she whispered. “I was happy to,” he replied. “Did you give up your ebook rights? If you’re already making this much within three months, you can earn out your advance in a few years.” “Your mother’s lawyer asked me not to give that up,” she replied. He nodded. Good for her. That was the best decision. Signing a contract with Lance would increase her audience, and give her books a space at certain book stores. “Was it a good idea?”

I asked, surprised. Mark smiled. "Yes. Since the market for the physical book hasn't been doing well, they haven't had a bestseller in a while. They've been operating at a loss. Now that they've seen the rapid growth in sales of our merchandise, they think your book will sell well. "They're hoping to use your book to help turn their losses into profits, so they've designated your book as a priority project. That's why the process for your book is moving faster than others."

Trash for Her Debts

Trash for Her Debts

When it came to Elyse and me, she never held back. And now… these gifts were our only shot at turning things around. I had to sell them. I had to get rid of everything. I spent the entire day listing them on resale platforms. I priced them low—way lower than they were worth—because I needed cash, fast. The same limited-edition pieces that once sat untouchable at the top of the market were now getting snapped up like discount produce at a street stall. As I watched the balance in my account climb, I finally felt a flicker of relief.

The Wrong Woman

The Wrong Woman

Phoebe was aware that when Mila wasn't occupied with work, she occasionally translated highly specialized and significant books, alongside her sporadic art endeavors. Phoebe inquired, "Mila, what's the price for one book?" Mila furrowed her brow, taking a moment before replying, "I'm uncertain about the current market value, but considering it's a specialized chemistry book, the Norvanese version I translated previously could fetch over a hundred thousand per copy. "You'll need to negotiate with the publishers for the final price." "Understood," Phoebe acknowledged before raising another question, "Why don't you sell your paintings instead, Mila? Each one could generate millions, and it's qu

The story between Chubs and Nate got pretty dragging but I can't complaint, since I did end up loving this novel more than I thought I would. Halfway through 1088 chapters, things got more interesting and the ending was pretty good. Thanks for making the stories worth reading.

I really like the book, i've been stuck on it since i've found it .. it's just that the chapters are too short, it's basically a money grab... irritating that you can't read for at least 2-5 mins without having to pay for a new chapter.
