He could feel the energy from the marking, the scent felt familiar, but before he could think, his vision blurred. His body ached as explosive pain surrounded him and then he staggered. “Evans,” Ophelia said, while Jasmine straightened instantly. Then the clearing shifted. Evans’s brows furrowed and before he knew it, the clearing had changed.

The honesty lands hard. Sarah turns toward the speaker. “That’s your plan? As Marian lit the stove and put some meat on the boil, Senna got out her instruments to check Marian’s vitals. Once she was done, she brought out a few vials of liquid tonics for Marian to take during the day and instructed the warrior she-wolf on how to take them. After a few short minutes, Senna headed out of Marian’s dorm. As she left, she turned back to Marian. Marian’s front door was still smashed, leaving no barricade between the outside and inside of her dorm. As such, Senna simply turned in the walkway and instantly faced Marian, who was watching her leave.
