The two Alphas lunged.

She exhaled slowly, observing the ripple of disruption. The prime sentinel’s silver eyes narrowed. He advanced carefully, testing the limits of her command, attempting to regain control. Aria inhaled, letting the Pulse flow fully. She allowed micro-adjustments through the forest to continue subtly, guiding perception, rhythm, and balance with precision. a voice boomed. From the center of the room, a massive figure stepped out. It was ten feet tall, made of matte-black armor and white light. It had the shape of a man, but its face was a blank, silver screen. "I am the Sentinel Prime," the machine said. "I am the sum of all the failures. I am the wall that you cannot climb." The machine raised a hand, and a blade of pure energy ignited from its wrist. It didn't lunge. it teleported.

He yelled, snapping me out of my momentary daze as I looked at her, our eyes meeting once more. I hurried down the hall toward the back stairwell. Then… A crack ripped through the air. Not wood. Not glass. Something deeper. Something alive. A force slammed through the floor like an invisible shockwave, and I stumbled, grabbing the railing to stay upright as my breath caught in my chest. My vision blurred at the edges, my wolf snarling inside my ribs. As if answering something. Kael parried a strike that could have severed a normal man's arm. The shock of the impact resonated through his obsidian blade and into the "Architect" code in his marrow. "Leo! Do it now!" Kael shouted, kicking a Sentinel back into a crystal pillar.
