The last line flashed PROJECT GENESIS – Lead Scientist: Dr. Alaric Graves. --- A violent explosion tore through the lab as Lucien shattered the tank. The liquid gushed out, and Subject X collapsed to the floor still alive. Its eyes opened black, bottomless. “Welcome… mother. Father.” Lucien froze. Evelyn’s body went rigid. “What the hell ” “I am Genesis,” it said, voice layered with whispers. “The offspring of your sins.” Lucien lunged forward, but Genesis vanished in a blur so fast it seemed to dissolve. Blood slashed across his shoulder.

Observed. "I feel two links straight to your soulmate, both belonging to you and yet the other leads elsewhere whilst one is here." It said, reaching out it's finger to his forehead. "These are my eyes, Aubrey." It said as it pressed his finger against his forehead and in an instant, countless streams of different colours filled his vision all around him. He glanced down at his arms and noticed his body was glowing green. "The green colour around you is your energy. Now, look that the sphere, Aubrey." It said as it pointed to the sphere.

I could be mistaken that I am his female version. He cocked his head from side to side. "Well," he paused as he drank the wine from his cup. "Yes, they are right. You also have a specific deity title as an offspring of Her." He sighed, rolling his eyes. I could tell that he didn't want to discuss it but it looked like he was left with no choice since I already asked. He gazed up at me and smiled darkly. "You are Rachellian Genesis Lothim. That is your mundane name, Rachellian," he said in a frigid tone. "But in Her celestial world, your deity name is Ragriel."

The backup contained the original Genesis architecture and enough information to rebuild the system. I told him we would destroy it. Arthur smiled. He said we couldn't. Because he hadn't brought us there to protect the archive. He had brought us there to offer us a choice. He walked toward the central table and opened a metal case. Inside was a small device connected to several cables. He said the device contained the final version of Genesis. Unlike the old Covenant, this version didn't require an organization or a bloodline. It could operate independently. It could monitor governments.
