Seraphina listened attentively as I poured out my story, my struggles, and my desperate need for answers. With a gentle nod, Seraphina began to weave her magic. She closed her eyes and murmured words that felt ancient and sacred, her hands moving gracefully as if guided by unseen forces. I watched in awe as the room seemed to shimmer with an ethereal glow, as if the very fabric of reality was bending to accommodate the mystical powers at play.

Behind her, Lyra called out casually, “Oh, those? Yeah, they’re genuine. The Academy uses rare gems to enhance the garden’s magic. But here? They’re just decoration. Pretty, but useless.” Caleb’s voice chimed in with a laugh, “Don’t even think about plucking one, though. The gardeners will hunt you down.” Their teasing made Sera smile faintly, but she couldn’t pull her eyes away. The jeweled flowers shimmered like they were breathing, as though leaning toward her. She reached out, hesitant fingertips brushing the air above a diamond-petaled bloom. And then… It spoke. “Seraphine…” The voice was soft, trembling like wind through glass.

“But we’re not done. The second one’s coming.” Another contraction, and I didn’t think I had anything left. My vision was blurring. Everything hurt. “Marisol, stay with me,” Seraphine’s voice seemed far away. “One more. Just one more.” The door exploded inward. Kael’s wolf form flew backward, slamming into the wall. A wendigo stepped through, its void eyes fixed on the tiny bundle Seraphine held. “Give us the light,” it hissed. “Over my dead body,” Seraphine snarled, and her entire form erupted in golden flames. Not fire pure light, searing and holy.

She paused at the runway’s end, hands folded gracefully, embodying fragile purity. Backstage whispers rose. “She didn’t come…” “Her turn is now…” The music shifts. Lights dimmed slightly. Silence expanded. Then— A shadow steps forward. Seraphine emerges. For a heartbeat, the time seemed to freeze. Her dress was no longer what they had destroyed. Black silk wraps her body like night itself, perfectly fitted, flowing without a single visible seam. From her shoulders descended a sheer cape that shimmers faintly, long enough to trail behind her like liquid moonlight. Her face is bare with no makeup.

“No. If I fall, I fall alone.” Riven’s frown deepened. “As you wish, my Lord.” He stepped back into the shadows. ,,, The camp sat in the hollowed ruins of a once-human chapel, an old Guild outpost. It was turned into neutral ground. At its heart, surrounded by torch-bearing guards and silver-lined warding stones, she stood. Seraphine Duskbane. She wore a leather armor scuffed by battle, her black hair pulled back into a braid that gleamed like obsidian in the firelight. A dagger hung from her hip, one hand resting casually on its hilt, but her stance wasn’t relaxed.

She gently tipped the edge of my chin with her fingers and smiled. "It's like it's too much for me. I'm not really that special." I murmured under my breath. I haven't even defeated Dubheasa yet and they already held a celebration for me. Now I feel like I owe this night from them and I really have to defeat Dubheasa no matter what. Queen Morrigan grasped my shoulders and led me to the golden standing mirror. I don't really see myself clearly. The mirror they have was just a flattened and polished gold. But looking at my faint reflection, I knew I was pale.

Martha definitely deserves that vacation though. I almost fell asleep standing up in the shower, but managed to stay awake long enough to clean myself and not die from smoke inhalation from the steam coming off of the hot water that massaged my muscles. Wrapping my hair in a towel after drying myself off, I rummaged through my suitcase for something decent to wear. My hands landed on a piece of dark magenta silk fabric. I pulled it out and revealed a single shoulder strap dress with a high thigh slit in it. The neckline went down deep enough to provide just the right amount of cleavage while not parading my tits around and the back was open. Overall, I really liked this dress since the color

Sylen said, his voice rougher than before. "No, not yet," Seraphina scowled, as a bead of sweat dripped from the tip of her nose to the hard floorboards of the training room. "I wasn't finished." "You were," With sudden interjection, Sephora stepped lightly into the circle for the first time. As though it belonged to her and there hadn't been a sparring match ongoing just moments ago. She looked up at Sylen through long dark lashes, her long dark hair starkly contrasting her pale eyes and fair skin... that against her pale blue eyes that flickered silver in the light... those lips, blood red naturally and full in peripheral view... "Weren't you, Commander?"

“Because I know it. You are lying to me. I’m not stupid.’ Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain penetrating my head. My body shook like there was someone pouring a bucket of rocks on me and I began screaming, falling to the floor. Images, laughter, and cries appeared before me. “Jeremy.’ the girl who almost looked like me ran across the sand in her dirtied gown. Jeremy looked at the girl with a smile. “Seraphina. What are you doing here? I thought you were playing in the garden.’ “Yes, I was.’ The girl named Seraphina replied in a sweet tone and stretched her hands with a bouquet. “Look what I got for Seraphim.’ “Wow. It looks nice.’ Jeremy uttered and wiped off dirt from his shoes.

Seraphine skidded back on ice. “How do we fight this?” Cassian shouted over the gale. Seraphine pushed to her feet. “Lightning.” She raised both hands. Sparks crawled along her arms—bright, dangerous. She thrust forward. Lightning cracked. It struck the heart of the vortex—destabilizing it. The wind screamed, scattered, reformed weaker. Again. Seraphine hit it again. The vortex collapsed—dissipating into harmless gusts. Silence. Then cheering.
