Damien plugged the drive into his holopad and frowned. “Siberia,” he muttered. “Of course.” Ava narrowed her eyes. “This place Project Nephilim it’s not a lab. It’s a womb.” Seraphina was no longer just a prototype. Her pod had drained. She now stood upright, dressed in a thin, silver gown that shimmered like liquid mercury. Her hair fell in wet curls past her shoulders, and her eyes unnaturally large and silver-flecked glowed faintly even in the dark.

She wore a dress made of shadows, and her arms were covered in the same blue tattoos, but hers were glowing so brightly they looked like they were made of neon. ​"Eris?" Seraphina whispered. ​"That is the name the history books gave me," the woman said, her eyes a cold, glowing white. "But I was just a girl who loved a demon too much. Just like you." ​Eris waved her hand, and the scene shifted. Suddenly, Seraphina was standing in a beautiful garden. It was peaceful, but she felt a heavy weight in her chest. A younger Eris was sitting on a bench, and beside her was a tall demon with silver hair and eyes that looked exactly like Kael’s.

Seraphina listened attentively as I poured out my story, my struggles, and my desperate need for answers. With a gentle nod, Seraphina began to weave her magic. She closed her eyes and murmured words that felt ancient and sacred, her hands moving gracefully as if guided by unseen forces. Pretty, but useless.” Caleb’s voice chimed in with a laugh, “Don’t even think about plucking one, though. The gardeners will hunt you down.” Their teasing made Sera smile faintly, but she couldn’t pull her eyes away. The jeweled flowers shimmered like they were breathing, as though leaning toward her. She reached out, hesitant fingertips brushing the air above a diamond-petaled bloom. And then… It spoke. “Seraphine…” The voice was soft, trembling like wind through glass.

*Smash. I looked past Kael’s shoulder. Seraphina stood ten feet away, her hands trembling. Her expensive crystal glass lay in a hundred jagged pieces at her feet, champagne soaking into the hem of her gold Luna gown. Her face was a mask of pure, naked horror. Her eyes were fixed on Darius’s hand, which was still wrapped firmly around my waist. "Lyra?" Seraphina’s voice was a thin, panicked shriek. "What are you doing here? How did you get in?"

“No. If I fall, I fall alone.” Riven’s frown deepened. “As you wish, my Lord.” He stepped back into the shadows. ,,, The camp sat in the hollowed ruins of a once-human chapel, an old Guild outpost. A dagger hung from her hip, one hand resting casually on its hilt, but her stance wasn’t relaxed.

CHAPTER 174 DANTE The final assault came at dusk. Seraph did not send his cultists this time. He came by himself. He walked through the front gates of the palace like he owned them, cloaked in a twisted version of Rowan’s golden light. But where Rowan’s power burned clean and bright, Seraph’s version was corrupted, black fire wrapped in false gold. It moved like living shadows around his body, and every step he took left scorched footprints on the stone.

She gently tipped the edge of my chin with her fingers and smiled. "It's like it's too much for me. I'm not really that special." I murmured under my breath. I haven't even defeated Dubheasa yet and they already held a celebration for me. Now I feel like I owe this night from them and I really have to defeat Dubheasa no matter what. Queen Morrigan grasped my shoulders and led me to the golden standing mirror. I don't really see myself clearly. The mirror they have was just a flattened and polished gold. But looking at my faint reflection, I knew I was pale.

The silky fabric made it super comfortable, light, and breathable. I unwrapped my damp hair and combed through it before putting it in a low pony. I didn’t feel like applying a full face of makeup, so I put concealer over the bags that hung under my eyes, did my eyebrows, lashes, and liner, and put a medium shade of maroon on my lids to match my dress. Once my makeup look was finished, I took my hair out of the ponytail, set some hair aside to make bangs, and then pulled my hair up into a high bun. A small amount of gel went onto the leftover hair and I styled some side swept bangs. Content with my appearance, I sprayed my favorite lavender smelling perfume and put on a pair of silver stilet
