Serena stood below her, backlit by a storm of pulsing light, her hair unbound and whipping with an unseen wind, her body radiating a power older than time, fierce and unrelenting. Serena’s eyes had shifted—no longer their usual expressive softness. They were lit from within, glowing with divine silver. They weren't just the eyes of a wolf; they weren’t even the eyes of a goddess. They were something beyond comprehension. Something no one had ever seen. Not even Solmyra, who had lived for nearly a thousand years.

The young woman, Sera introduces herself. "Sera...not your actual name, is it?" I ask knowingly. "Well, you can consider it a codename. But my name is Seraphine." Sera replied with a casual shrug. "How come you get to be Sera?" I could not help the question. Sera laughs quietly at that, shrugging slightly. "It was either that or Top(II). I'm Seraphine Vega, the Beta Healer. “I am Serena of the Eclipse, daughter of Naelira, born of both fire and restraint. I carry the Gate. But I do not belong to it.” Her voice boomed. The hands vanished. The Gate flared once—then dimmed. And in the silence that followed… Serena smiled. Back in the Shrine – Morning She opened her eyes. Snow had stopped falling. Lyra raised her power quickly, silver and black energy crashed together and the explosion shook the battlefield, warriors screamed, some fell to the ground from the pressure and Kael turned immediately toward her. I ran faster and Serena attacked again and again without stopping. “She should have died years ago!” Serena screamed.

“How much do you know about the relic, Serena?” “I know that it’s about a thousand years old. It’s a statue of the goddess Sirona, an ancient Celtic goddess of healing. And that’s all I know. Oh, and I look like her. Whoopie for me! Wait a minute. I look like her. She’s the Goddess of Healing, but she’s a statue, and I’m real. Son of a bitch!” Serena shot up from her seat, her hands flying to her gaping mouth. “Raphael, don’t you see? It finally makes sense! He thinks I’m her!” She paced the floor and stopped cold, looking Raphael square in the eyes.

"Lyra You don't get it, do you? You're Sage's Luna now. Being a Mickleson means any enemy of ours remains your enemy." I hissed, "It most definitely isn't; can you even hear yourself for goodness sake?" I was getting frustrated. I hated being trapped in a cage. "Xavier took Sage's mate away from him. Veronica was his mate before Xavier stepped in, and there's a lot more to it than just that. Now think about it: do you think Sage would let the same happen?" I was taken aback by his confession but again could keep shut, trying to point out the fact that Sage and I's relationship is nothing short of a contract.
