she said softly, “I’ll be right here.” Seth was discharged less than 48 hours later; his body was still sore, but his determination burned hotter than ever. He didn’t return to his estate. An orphanage took me in, but the kids there were so irksome that I ran away. Then, I ran into the Vance family." Under that piercing gaze, Seth instinctively looked away and answered in a low voice, “No.” “No?” Marcus let out a cold smile. “It seems to me that you hate it.” “The leader knows that Kennedy and I were husband and wife in name only. There were no real feelings involved. Besides, her death is the best outcome for the organization.” Seth spoke calmly, as if the matter truly had nothing to do with him.

He swiftly dialed his grandpa's private line. "What's wrong, Seth?" Tybalt Jensen, Seth's grandpa, asked through the phone. His voice was hoarse but forceful, like that of someone in authority. Seth checked his phone for the current happenings, he didn’t want to use the TV because he wasn’t ready to talk to Daisy yet. “Shit!” Seth grunted. Daisy rushed into the room to find out why Seth shouted like that. She saw him pacing back and forth in the room, scattering his hair with his left hand and biting his right thumb. Something serious was up! “What’s wrong, baby?” Daisy asked. She managed to go close to him and touch him even. He didn’t push her away or walk away. “It’s the Larinth, it… it’s Harvey, it’s the upgrade. Darin has been resurrected.” Seth said.
