Clash of Hearts

Clash of Hearts

Hugo’s POV Before I have fallen in love with Eliana, the only thing I really want was to sit on the throne and rule our pack, and by the means of that, I have to cross all the line and do what I have to—so I could grasp the power in my hand, so I could beat my brother down; so I could make my father proud. But all that reasons seemed not able to make my heart ponder anymore, because as cheesy it may sound, it was only the thought of her that could make my mind be capable to be sane and my heart to beat. High Octane Hearts

High Octane Hearts

Samatha worked a double and left at eleven. She didn’t want to have any issues so she made sure she recorded her shows before she came back in. She was glad the gas pumps were working again. She was having all kinds of emotions. She wanted to cry because she knew she couldn’t handle having a relationship with Mason from their history. At the same time she wanted to jump his bones every time he came to her rescue. When it came time for shift change, Rae had locked the door. She knew Tabitha could handle anything. When she turned around there was Mason standing there with a hard hat under his arm and regretting written all over his face.

Hidden Hearts

Hidden Hearts

Inside was a single sheet of matte black paper, the message printed in faint grey type, like a whisper in ink: You’re not the only one watching. You’ve got forty-eight hours before someone decides your past isn’t worth hiding. No signature. No mark. But the phrasing… sharp, precise. It reminded her of the way Leo Knight spoke—only this was colder, less amused. Her mind moved fast—cross-referencing jobs, old contacts, burned clients—but there were too many possibilities. She turned the page over, and a smaller slip of paper fell out. A photograph. Her chest tightened.

My Boss, My Master!

My Boss, My Master!

’ Heart thought. “Why are you making my heart beat like this, huh?!” Cullen screamed angrily as he grabbed Heart’s hand and put it on his chest. Heart’s eyes widened more and he could even feel and hear his heart fluttering. ‘His heartbeat, it is so loud.’ Heart thought while looking at her hand on his chest. ‘But, why?! I don’t understand.’ Heart thought, she was still clueless and speechless about this.

Shattered Bond: Rise Of The Rogue Luna

Shattered Bond: Rise Of The Rogue Luna

The earth itself felt like it was holding its breath. Laila sat in the front passenger seat, her gray eyes fixed on the massive, dark silhouette of the volcano that loomed through the gray morning mist. The ring of silver fire around her irises was pulsing with a slow, rhythmic intensity that matched the internal vibration of the three European Hearts in her soul. She could feel the fourth engine the Eastern Heart buried deep beneath the volcanic roots of the peak. It was loud, chaotic, and erratic, its frequency a frantic, metallic clicking that sounded like a million iron gears grinding against each other without any oil.

This was such an intriguing and refreshing read. The writing is flawless and the characters are woven intricately and seamlessly into the story. Felt like I was watching a movie instead of reading a book.the characters just came to life. Looking fwd to more such interesting chapters.

He looked at me once, steady and unreadable. “You coming?” My heart hammered so hard it hurt. Fear clawed at me, but under it, something stirred. Something I hadn’t felt in years. Hope. I stepped forward. And I chose.

A Nearsighted Girl’s Journey Through a Horror Game

A Nearsighted Girl’s Journey Through a Horror Game

One lock undone. The mechanical voice faltered, suddenly uneasy: > 【W-would the remaining honored residents be willing to offer your “Heart of Happiness” to help your family open the Gate?】 So that was it. The keys weren’t metal at all, they were hearts. And not just any hearts. They had to be happy ones. Finn and Susie turned desperately toward their spectral companions. But the three ghosts only shook their heads. “I’m sorry,” one murmured. “Our hearts aren’t red. They’re not hearts of happiness.”
