Hades’s POV They were visibly shaking as they stood before me. Their earlier bravado had crumbled into an intense fear. I could almost smell their anxiety. Carla, the one who had been the boldest in the video, was now trembling, her hands clutching at her arms as if she could keep herself from breaking apart. Lila and Michelle, the other two, were similarly pale, their eyes darting between me and each other. They didn’t know how far this would go, but they knew it had already gone too far.
