The Lunar Legacy

The Lunar Legacy

Stone holds, pup—stand, fight! Lila crouched behind a fallen willow branch, her chestnut ponytail swaying in the wind, hazel eyes wide but steady, her parchment scroll clutched in her hands, charcoal stick smudged with ash, sketching the shard’s runes, her fingers trembling from the chill, her wool cloak wrapped tightly around her, her tunic stained with sweat, the shard’s hum a puzzle she’d solve, the wind making her breath fog, the indigo glow of the runes casting an eerie light on her face, the puddles reflecting the light nearby, the willows’ shadows stark, the air shimmering with dark magic, her courage a quiet flame in the shadowed hollow, the scent of shadow a call to action. Spark, h

Zara's Escape back home

Zara's Escape back home

She says. “That sounds like a good idea. But don’t stress yourself.” I tell her, and she promises not to. We didn’t wait long before Mack came, and I explained everything. Then I walk toward the forest after checking the location on Zach’s phone. ‘RUN, Shadow, run like never before. We need to get there so we can bring her home.’ I tell him, and he growls in agreement before shifting and starting running. *FLASHBACK ENDS* We have been running since the night we left, only taking minor breaks to eat and drink and checking we still run in the right direction. It seems like they, too, are tracking my phone that Shadow carries in the small bag I packed, and we are finally getting close.

Shadow Bound

Shadow Bound

Ice asks. “A witch I met in New Orleans,” Bo replies with a smile. Seems like more than a friend to me. “She’ll meet you at the airport when you land in Portland. From there, it’s about a six and a half hour drive to Crescent Shadow territory.” I nod my head. Ice sees my face and turns to them. “Can we go now?” She asks. “Of course,” Gray nods his head. “Get some sleep. Tomorrow will be a long day, you’ll need your rest.”

Beneath the Shadows

Beneath the Shadows

(gesturing to the room) “—this is war. And in war, there are no second chances.” Before Sienna could respond, the sound of shattering glass filled the room. Both of them turned toward the window just as a shadow moved in the darkness. Enzo grabbed Sienna, his voice sharp. “Get down!” The crack of gunfire echoed through the room as chaos erupted around them.

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Dupree, with his rune-infused blade, fended off the Shadows, each strike causing them to momentarily dissipate. Seraphina and I focused on the chest, attempting to harness its energy. As we channeled our combined powers, the chest began to glow brighter, emitting a frequency that seemed to disorient the Shadows. Moros, seizing the opportunity, shouted, "Now! Push them back!" With a collective effort, we unleashed a wave of energy, forcing the Shadows to retreat. But just as victory seemed within grasp, the ground trembled beneath us, and from the abyss, a colossal Shadow emerged, its presence dwarfing the others.

The Moon Shadow

The Moon Shadow

Before I figured out what would happen, my legs were already sprinting with all their might. "Let's play hide and seek, bitch. I'll give you five seconds to run as far as you can and hide. Don't let me catch you, otherwise, ahahaha!" I could hear his demonic laughter echoing from behind. I pushed myself to run, even until my legs felt numb, and I could hardly feel their existence. I ran towards the distant training ground where the soldiers' chants faintly reached my ears. "Fight for survival! Fight for the family! Fight for freedom!"

Design of Fate

Design of Fate

It was a great nuke, but each nuke took plenty of time to refuel. Next, I pulled the shadows towards me to cloak me as much as possible. It did not work as well during the daytime as it did at nighttime. However, it did provide plenty of coverage, allowing me to perform great sneak attacks. Moira and I had worked so fucking hard to perfect our abilities as much as possible. There was a vibrational signature behind me that alerted me to the fact that something was preparing to attack me from there. No way would that be happening. I dropped down to the ground just as someone leapt towards me.

I’m very impressed with your books!! I’m an avid reader & my favorite author is Patricia Cornwall. Her writing is so good you can actually see the story in your mind when reading, like your watching a movie & yours are damn near as good! Love your work! I highly recommend this author! Amazing books!

I love all of the books in the Fated universe. I am loving this sequel even more than I loved 'His Hunt For Redemption'. Jackson and Zeus are perfect for Imeela. I also love all of the twists and turns when it comes to dealing with the Precoza coven. I can't wait for Kalen's story next.

Shadows & Secrets

Shadows & Secrets

Ancient runes etched into its facade pulsed faintly, their protective power a silent shield against the sinister energy the group battled mere minutes ago. The memory of the grotesque creature, its red eyes and smoky aura, haunted them - a stark reminder of the Nightshade Pack’s dark influence. Alpha Mikhail Silverclaw led the team, his commanding presence steadying the group after their harrowing encounter. His amber eyes, still sharp with the intensity of their forest skirmish, met those of Alpha Damien Bloodmoon, who stood in the foyer of the pack house studying the group.
