Her eyes went wide as she recognized the figure standing before her. "Arthur?" Her voice came out hoarse, barely audible.

The plan worked, and in a gritty rooftop showdown, Alex finally came face-to-face with their relentless pursuer. The Shadow emerged from the darkness, their features hidden beneath a mask, their eyes burning with a deadly determination. "You have meddled in affairs that do not concern you," they hissed, their voice carrying an air of cold malice. "Prepare to meet your end." The battle that ensued was a dance of death, each move calculated and precise. Alex's martial prowess clashed with The Shadow's deadly agility, creating a lethal ballet of combat. I haven’t had much time to watch movies lately, so Shadow advised we watch his favorite horror together. Mama. It’s about a dead woman who adopts these two little girls after their father tries to kill them. I thought it was going to be cutesy, but instead, she started killing people and refusing for the little girls to go back into humanity. “I don’t like this anymore” I sob, watching the youngest girl getting pulled closer to the edge by the demon lady. Shadow turns the T.V. off and turns to me.

The darkness shouted in anguish as the center started to break, its form unraveling beneath the constraint of their combined strength. Ethan and Mariam, standing outside the shadow, watched in awe as the dark mass began to disintegrate. "They’re doing it," Mariam whispered, her voice filled with hope. Ethan, his eyes never leaving the collapsing shadow, nodded. "They’ve found its weakness." With one final surge of power, Marcus and Clara smashed the center, their light devouring the last remnants of the abyss. The shadow let out a last, ear-piercing shout before collapsing in on itself, its dull energy dissolving into nothingness.
