Grayson moved silently, his eyes scanning the shadows for movement as he reached the edge of the camp. Evelyn followed close behind, her steps light but purposeful. Suddenly, the camp came alive with movement. Hunters emerged from all directions, their weapons gleaming in the moonlight as they formed a circle around Grayson and Evelyn. Jerry strode out from the crowd, his expression smug and triumphant. “Do you think you can waltz into my camp and take my prisoner? You must take me for a fool,” he sneered, his voice dripping with malice.

Shane could already picture himself walking the campus corridors in his soccer jersey. Carl said goodbye to Shane and walked off. Just as Shane was about to go off on his own, he heard an applause from behind him. He turned to look around. Shane was surprised to see the beautiful face of Melissa Grey. How long has it been since he last saw her? What was she doing there?

He made a cup of cold, highly flavored coffee and drank. He was about to cross the front porch of the house again when the ghost from the rocking chair spoke, but in reality it was really Kane, his older brother. Kane had the more manly look compared to his brother. He had beards and moustache while Shane was just sprouting a few. He had dyed his hair red. "Where are you going so early? What do you plan on doing?" Kane said deeply intoned. "Mind your own business," Shane said, leaving the ghost behind. "If you insist on knowing then follow me, it won't change anything. Stupid."

She watched him rub his nose as he said these things and remembered some rumors and gossips she heard about a blond guy from the senior years of the Academy. "You're that guy. Anthony Reeves—the Yankee?," she asked but was answered with silence. She sighed and leaned back. "You... haven't shown up at the graduation ceremony, have you?" Anthony looked at her and frowned. "Yeah! Yeah. What a sad story...blah blah," he replied sarcastically as he lay on his back at the other end of the couch, putting some distance between them. "I didn't mean it like...that," Iktanne gasped as she stared at him, wide-eyed.

Heidi's cheeks were pale, and her entire body was covered in bandages after they tended to her. Seeing the press, she promptly seized the moment and started crying in front of the cameras, rasping in grief, "It's all Zoe Harris' fault! That stupid woman insisted we go shark diving while she's on her period, and her bleeding sent the sharks into a frenzy! We would have been fine without her—I would still have my arm, and everyone would be alive. She's so selfish! It's all her fault!" The crowd erupted in an uproar at her words. While all the journalists all turned their cameras at me, the rubberneckers were clearly scowling and murmuring in disapproval.

But I shake the ideas out of my head before I have a chance to overthink it. Taking a deep breath I knock on the black door. Seconds later the door swings open and a very shirtless looking Declan comes into view. With his shirt off, you can see his tan six-pack and those two faded scars. Grey Nike sweatpants hang low on his hips and his bony feet are bare of socks. Gulping, I tear my eyes away from his beautiful figure, a burning blush encasing my cheeks. His green eyes connect with my own, a grin taking over his gorgeous features. Butterflies flip and flop in my stomach.

I ask and she immediately switches from excited to confused. "Yeah... The one about the alien people," she asks and I smirk a little while shaking my head. "Shifters... But yeah that one. I think they might be a group of them," I say and her eyes bulge a little before she sits back down. "What makes you think that," she asks and I shrug. "Carmen was telling me how many people all live together at Gray Ranch and that gag order popped into my head instantly. It's as if my mind linked the two as she was talking," I say simply giving her the truth.
