Two cups of steaming coffee on the table accompanying us while we swap stories. Nate is twenty-six, moved here right after high school with only his guitar to chase his dream of becoming the next big name in music industry. In the first five years he had to work odd jobs just to get by instead of working on his music. After busted his ass left and right, had some saving, bought new guitar, he then started to hunt stages. Cafes, bars, even done street performances. “I’ll never lose my hope,” he says. “All it take is just one right day.” Determination laces his words.

Till My Last Breath

Till My Last Breath

I reluctantly opened my eyes and turned to look at where Nathan's voice came from. Across the camping grounds, Nathan's figure was huddled together with Kaitlin and Alex. All 3 were hunched over the tents with busy hands. Slowly shuffling my way over, I observed the camping grounds. Together with my clubmates, we had rented this space for our last bonding trip as graduating members of the Outdoor Adventure Club. A designated area for pitching tents, a barbeque and campfire pit in the center, bathroom facilities by the entrance, and a large open space separated from the forest by a fence. It gave the closest feeling one could get to camping outdoors, while still having access to convenient fa

Half Wild, Half Yours

Half Wild, Half Yours

“We’re out in Montana right now at a camping music fest. No Name is playing their final night here, and the energy’s unreal. There are tents and vans everywhere, people hanging with their crews, supporting small artists, soaking in the vibes. Highly recommend hitting up a local festival if one’s rolling through your town.” I flipped the camera and panned across the scene outside—colorful tarps, a guy juggling fire, two girls doing glitter makeup in a side mirror. “This is Camp No Name,” I said proudly, zooming in on our ridiculous flag. “Ten out of ten, no notes.”

Cattenach Ranch

Cattenach Ranch

"What did we miss while I kicked Liv's butt at pool?" "Nothing much." Nate flicked Nakos a smirk. "What's this I hear you've taken up an interest in photographing cowboys?" Her grin was wicked. "And leaning toward tatted ex-soldiers." Nakos chuckled. "I told you." He gave it under five minutes before the guy said yes. A shake of his head, and Nate zeroed back on Amy. "No." "Come on." She wiggled her brows. "You need to be captured on film."

Romance With Mr Billionaire

Romance With Mr Billionaire

So" he started. "As most of you must have heard, our annual three days camp is here again and it'll be commencing in the next two days. "And...this year's own is gonna be very special. First, we'll be combining with Carnegie Vanguard High School it's being hosted in New York city..." "Huh? Carnegie Vanguard?" Nicole whispered to me. "I heard they're nothing but spoilt eggs". I shrugged and concentrated on the teacher. "The fee, of course, is one million per student. And this year, we'll be honored to have the special presence of some of our celebrities some of which include: The Rock babies, Gentle Aura, Mavin, Lady K and of course, our beloved Ryan".

My mate at summer camp

My mate at summer camp

We walked by women by large fire places, cooking in giant pots in groups and also past children playing. The boys from about age seven to early teenage were practicing the use of weapons with some of the rogue warriors, while the girls were cooking in smaller pots not very far from the older women—I believe was also training for them. Even in their comfort zone, every single one of them was wearing the same mask. Right in the middle of camp was a tent that was bigger and slightly more sophisticated. It was coated all round with a trampoline and I assumed that would be the only safe place in the case of a storm. There were two wolf guards at the entrance.

The Hunt

The Hunt

Justin called out loudly, "Susanna? Izzy? I can smell you. I just thought you'd want to know!" Kate looked at Izzy and Susanna and let out a squeak. "Shit!" Susanna said as she scurried around "By the way, thanks for helping me win my bet!" Justin chimed in as he grinned in the direction of the waterfall. He scooped his mate in his arms and started back toward the castle. "Justin? Where is Nate?" Kate hissed at Justin as he started to walk away. "I saw them last camped at the stream by those large trees, it's about five miles away from here. They are staying the night on the stream and starting early. Beware, they usually head out around 5 am and it's almost 4 now." Justin said helpfully.

Werewolf romance was not really my taste but this one is interesting. Not only did it mention about the most talked about alphas but it tackled the other positions such as those who protect the pack during travel. It's new knowledge for me so I very much like it. Plus, the hunt is surely exciting.

5 stars so doesn’t get shoved to the bottom. Love hunt idea, great details, well written. I got to certain part, that didn’t seem to flow with the story line. I didn’t like that. No mention, until that part, of their wolf. Thats strange. So I stopped reading.

Taming the Alpha Twins

Taming the Alpha Twins

Nathan stood in the encampment of the surviving healthy Blue Mountain Pack. It was still a sad thing to behold. Most were female or pups and anyone coming into the encampment could smell the quiet fear emanating off the camp. He didn’t like this, but what surprised him the most was how quickly word passed through the camp that he’d arrived. Nathan didn’t realize the impression he’d given these people. But there was some sort of respect or a certain amount of awe. Whatever caused it, he wasn’t sure.

Sinfully His: Craving The Devil's Son

Sinfully His: Craving The Devil's Son

"We’re too messy. We look like we just escaped a crime scene." "Let me worry about that," I said, my eyes scanning the edge of the tree line on the other side of the creek. A thin trail of grey smoke was drifting up from a clearing about fifty yards away, accompanied by the faint, tinny sound of pop music playing from a cheap speaker. I blinked, focusing through the low branches, and saw an old, beat-up yellow Volkswagen van parked near a small clearing. A bright blue nylon tent was pitched next to it, and a group of four teenagers—probably college kids on an early spring break trip—were huddled around a small camp fire, drinking from red plastic cups and laughing loudly.

The Boyfriend App

The Boyfriend App

Real men don’t cry. “Yeah,” Nate replies, low-keying the breaking of his voice with a cough. “That’s why I said ‘SECOND Summer Capital’.” “Oh, so like you and me. You’re the second popstar of the Philippines.” “Aniya,” Nate refuses empathically. “I’m the illegitimate kid who’s sent to a paramilitary camp because his mother and stepfather are embarrassed of him. I’m no idol material.” Even though Shadow’s motorcycle, a brand-new-looking Yamaha MT-09, has warmed up enough and Nate doesn’t want to stay a second longer near Camp Unplugged, they make idle chit-chat because they both know they won’t be able to talk properly once they ride.
