The blade passed harmlessly through, leaving nothing but rippling darkness in its wake. Kael didn’t stop. He pivoted instantly, dragging his blade back across the arc where the figure reformed. This time, he infused the strike with everything he had—speed, force, and a raw edge of fury that burned through his veins. The shadows recoiled. Not much. But enough. A faint ripple—like something real had been touched. “There you are,” Kael muttered. Behind him, Lira darted forward, her twin blades flashing as she slashed through the lingering tendrils. “So it can be hit,” she said, breath steady despite the tension. “That’s something.”

Leah Sullivan had never wanted to slap someone so bad! She sat in one of the two black leather armchairs across from her father’s large mahogany desk, and stared at her father, King Marcus. Sandra squealed in excitement, making me uncertain about who was more weird, Sandra or me. "But he dropped out after two years." I said.

I followed the script and calmly admitted to mistakes that were not mine. A journalist suddenly asked, “Mr. Sheldon, we heard you were diagnosed with leukemia some time ago. You might not live for more than a month. Would you approve of Ms. Walter and Mr. Surrey being together after your death?” My sickly expression appeared on the screen. I was not surprised by the question. As Jaime’s husband, I often had paparazzi around me. I did not deny anything. I simply smiled. “Yes, I will give them my blessing.” I did not know which part angered her, but Jaime’s calm expression vanished. She stood up at once and ended the live broadcast.

He was already on the Unbreakable Oath tier, so further growth showed more in emotional weight than numbers. Next came Leonard. "Leonard, here." Sheila snapped at the Nadri, she had to get Leo away from this creature before. She saw him move, like a blur and in the blink of an eye, his hand shot forward from behind him and a small blade left his hand, spinning freely in the air until it sliced Leo in his fore arm, just below the shoulder, cutting through his flesh deep enough for blood to pool out. Leo screamed out in pain, Sheila gasped in anger and surprise, the Nadri smirked as the smell of blood hit his nose, he had struck gold, he had found his mixed blood. What luck he had.

I'm blaming the elders, and I'm blaming her mother." I was about to walk in and ask what they were talking about when Jack spoke. "can you stop calling her Luna her name is Blair, and it has been for the past 18 years"
