Caleb's complexion paled as he took in the scene, a look of shock crossing his features. Turning to Mia, he exclaimed, "Ms. Monalize, are you trying to kill her?" Mia replied nonchalantly, "Luna splashed water on me without any reason. Seeing how much she enjoys water, I'm simply granting her wish. Why would I want her dead?" Pointing toward the dorsal fin visible above the water, Caleb countered, "That's a shark, right? And you're still insisting you're not endangering her life?"

Devlin’s gaze followed Liam. It was a giant sea exhibit, filled with various water predators from all over the Union. Sharks—and big creatures that looked a lot like sharks—were battling it out, with smaller fish trying to hide among the picturesque caves. A huge white shark tore into the blue one right before their eyes, coloring the water with blood. “This is sick,” Julian grumbled. “Figures that Liam would like that.” Amused, Devlin smiled, but when he glanced at Julian, he looked genuinely nauseated, his face pale.

She sighed in awe at the beauty of the sea anemones and the unique shapes of various types and colors of coral reefs. The couple held hands as they walked through the clear glass dome surrounded by the beauty of the ocean’s life in miniature. William asked Emmy to stand for a selfie in front of the show of small fish that made waves of swimming movements in rhythm. Then a large shark swam past, showing its sharp teeth up close. "Shark!!" Emmy shouted hysterically, looking at William. "ROOOAR!" William pretended to be a shark about to attack Emmy, hugging her while laughing brightly.

Kai walked over after he had fetched some water. “Miss Diaz, what are you looking at?" Aurora pointed at the clear water and said, “Look, there are shrimps in there." Kai looked over toward the rushing stream. Sure enough, he saw that there were fishes, shrimp and crabs in there. There were many. “Aurora, you don't want to catch some fish and shrimp back, do you?" Kai, who had been scolded by Aurora, started to talk a little more.

“Do you need water?” Moana only nodded. She still seemed too stunned to speak, so I decided to get her seated at our table and get her something cold to drink. There would be meals provided later, as well as live entertainment, but for now people were socializing before the show and our only option was the open bar.

“Can you give me a second? We might need some security around here.” Byron grinned and gestured outside towards the sharks. “Take all the time you need, sis. But not too much time.” He winked. I laughed. “Of course not.” I shook my head and began to tap onto the minds of the array of sharks around us. I could sense other species in here, but most were Bull Sharks, which is good because they are known to be as strong as the great whites. Or is it the other way around? ‘Hey, everyone. I need a favor.’ The moment that they heard my voice, all their heads turned in our direction. I heard Byron letting out a whistle at their gesture.

I've been having them more and more here lately. "I promise that if you don't come see me, I'll drag my ass out of the ocean and come find you on land. Just come live near the ocean I'll be in." Manny smiled at me, his purple fin playing with mine. "Deal. What ocean are you planning to live in?" "Pacific. I like being near the sharks." He smiled. "Don't sharks hate sea witches since they're usually the ones to break the law?" I asked confused. "Nah, they love us, cause we're so tasty and keep them in business." He laughed.

"The coast guard has issued an intercept order. They're demanding we stop the vessel immediately for inspection." His expression was grim as his gaze swept toward the center of the crowd. "The police say there's a murder suspect on board."

Plants swayed with the current and before long, a small shark slowly swam by. My eyes widened as it passed us. Smooth, gray skin shined beneath the filtered light of the sun. I turned towards Shawn and Chris, pointing at the creature. Chris gave me a thumbs up and Shawn smiled behind his mouthpiece. A leopard crab scurried across the ocean floor, catching my attention. I swam deeper than the boys, following it to a large reef filled with coral and anemones. A family of black clownfish swam through the colorful plants, and I turned to see Shawn approaching to see what had caught my attention.
