Even though she has already gotten used to sleeping with a naked man beside her, Sasha still feels her cheeks heat up whenever he enters the room and takes off his towel. Shailyn clobbered her feet as she walked into the pack library, Ignoring the lady at the desk as she immediately went to the bookshelf section, being slightly awed by the number of books she saw but she had seen millions of books in the fairies secret library and she had read only a thousand. Through her journey, she had read so many books, the imaginary world was more entertaining and exhilarating than the real world. Her life was anything but fascinating till Skylar came along but that was how it was meant to be.

CHAPTER SIX : THE FIRST DEATH Lyra woke up cold. Not regular cold. Not the kind of cold that came from winter weather or a lack of blankets. The kind of cold that came from lying on frozen ground with no pack bond to keep you warm. The kind of cold that sank into bones and stayed there. The kind of cold that could kill. She opened her eyes slowly. Everything hurt. Her head pounded. Her chest ached like someone had carved out her heart with a dull knife.

"The Architects were the ones who sold the tickets, but the Reader is the one who bought the dream. You cannot be unmapped from a heart that has already claimed you." She gestured toward the horizon, where the mountains were beginning to "shift." It wasn't a deletion. It was a "zoom." The world was becoming more detailed, the textures of the stone and the scents of the forest becoming more intense. The "Unmapped" North was being prepared for a new chapter. "The Reader is waiting for a 'Yes'," Seraphina warned. "And in the Gallery of the First Moon, a 'No' is just a different kind of tragedy."

My eyes met Lena's and her eyes widened in shock when she saw who it was that had the highest bid. “Trev, what the fuck!?” Charles yelled in shock but I didn't care. There was no way I would let him go home tonight with my Lena. “We have a winner!” The woman announced as she took Lena's hand, who had a scared look on her face, and approached me with a smile. “Cash or…” “Transfer,” I replied with my eyes never leaving Lena's and when the woman had confirmed the transaction, she placed Lena's hand in mine. “Enjoy!”

Lisha’s hands shake as she takes the glass draining the contents in one go, and hands the glass back to him, coughing as she stammers, “More” Xavier refills her glass. When she goes to take it from him, he pulls his hand back and says, “Sip this one.” Lisha nods, picking the book up and sitting it on my lap; pointing at the page, she whispers, “Read it.” I frown, looking at the words in front of me, and ask, “How did this happen? The last time I looked at this book, the words weren't visible?” Lisha shrugs,

But Shane didn't reply to her messages, she didn't know if he was injured or if everything was resolved. She thought for a while, not knowing when she would fall asleep.
