No Forgiveness
She looked as timid as ever, her head down and eyes avoiding everyone like she was afraid someone might notice her.
I walked up to her and spoke quietly, "Liana, I know what happened that night. You don't have to be afraid. If you're willing to be honest, I'll write a forgiveness letter for you. Even if my husband doesn't agree, I'll figure out a way to help you make your case."
Liana's head snapped up, her mouth opening like she was about to say something. But when she saw Roxanne, she went silent.
I stressed every word, speaking slowly and clearly, "Think about it. Do you really want to throw your life away for someone like that?"
