Sheep In Wolf's Clothing Meaning Novels & Stories

“And what’s that issue?” “I don’t know how to say, but my wolf’s fur was golden. It was a golden wolf. I didn’t hear of someone having a golden wolf. It can be a curse or ....” I didn’t know what to say. My voice was shaky. I didn’t know if it was a good sign or bad. What does the golden fur of my wolf indicate? There was a burning tension inside me because my wolf was ignoring me. “Let me tell you a story.” I nodded.

But it turns out that the fishes on the pond would be the first one to run out than the mana I have left in my body. Sitting on the grass with big pack of dirts beside it, I can say that I am in a mess. My clothes have been like this ever since. I do have a spare but changing clothes and washing the other one, I never even expected to encounter such thing. Thankfully it was finely comfortable to wear. If not, I would surely be on range walking all around the forest to pick up any clothes I can get. One of the rule we wolves have is that, we can use those clothes only… If it is needed. If it isn't a thing that is needing urgent usage of it, we can't just randomly pick up every clothes scatter

"The amulet... it's not just an object. It has a power that many desire." We ventured deeper into the forest, tall and dense trees surrounding us, casting unsettling shadows. Suddenly, a howl echoed in the distance, followed by others, like a sinister symphony drawing nearer. "The pack is here!" Lucas exclaimed, looking into the darkness. A group of wolves emerged from the trees, their eyes gleaming with determination. Kessler, the alpha of the pack, approached the lead wolf, the same silver-gray wolf we had helped before, and gave a nod of recognition.

"Why do I feel like I have to keep moving? Why can't I relax?" Sarah was pacing in front of James who sat quietly on a rock with a grin on his face. "What are you smiling about?" How could he be happy when she was feeling so miserable? "Your wolf is impatient. She's telling you she wants to come out. She wants to run." James knew her wolf would be amazingly beautiful, and he couldn't wait to meet her in person. "Just try to relax and think about the human you just laying down and letting the wolf come forward to take over. But first take off your clothes so you don't destroy them."

He paused, his eyes scanning my face for any sign of understanding. “I couldn't help but laugh, I guess either I'm hearing things or I'm not the only crazy one in the room.” Zayn stepped closer, his movements deliberate and careful, as if I might bolt at any moment. “You’re a wolf,” he said, his voice steady. “You always have been. You just didn’t know it yet.” I burst out in laughter once again, sharp and bitter, verging on hysteria. “You’re insane. This is insane.”

I said softly, because silence had become too full, “I spent all afternoon in the library trying to prove you aren’t what my brain is trying to make you.” The wolf’s eyes did not leave my face. I laughed once, quietly and without humour. “That’s not a great sign, is it?” He blinked, slow. I leaned back in the chair, staring out at the yard. “I found folklore books. Real ones. Weird ones. Academic ones. And every second page wanted to tell me silver means protection and wolves with unnatural coloured eyes are omens and stories.” The wolf’s ears twitched at the word silver. I noticed. Of course I noticed. My fingers tightened on the arm of the chair.

I rolled my eyes hard and huffed. Bel quickly realized he was fighting a losing battle with me and dragged us outside, instructing me to shift. "I've been around too long to be effected by nudity before you protest. I'm sure the Alpha has clothing somewhere hidden for you. The wolves are always littering the forests with clothing," he dramatically sighed. I awkwardly cleared my throat," I mean... I wasn't necessarily going to argue much about the shifting but uh... I haven't heard from my wolf in almost two months now..."

If any wolf metaphor worked for him, it was the one about sheep’s clothing. “Ahh.” He said thoughtfully. “We want to meet your wolf and be greeted properly.” Everyone said Elle had a wolf. They said she had not birthed it yet, whatever that meant. But now, it meant she didn’t have one for Octavio to meet. Elle lifted her chin defiantly. “No man commands my wolf. She comes out when she is ready.” Elle retorted hotly.

I say, clutching my chest like she just pulled the rug from under me. She smirks. “How far gone were you that you didn’t notice me? Reacting like someone just came for your soul.” I glare, but inside I’m grateful she’s here. “Jesus, Blaire… I was just searching something and got way too into it.” Before I can grab my phone, she snatches it from my hand and leans in to read the screen. A silver wolf can symbolize intuition... she reads aloud, a teasing smile tugging at her lips. “Wait. You were Googling wolves? And you got scared? Come on. It’s not like you’re stuck in some forest full of wolves, right?”

The wolf gestures for me to stay where I am, then goes to the door and I watch as he turns the key in the lock. It makes my heart sink to my feet. He's really going to serve me, isn't he? Oh, wow, I think it will... On the way back to bed the wolf takes off his cloak and throws it over a chair, but no other article of clothing is removed. However, I still see that he is breathing heavily as he approaches. The calm passed. His broad chest rises and falls sharply under his stiff clothes. But it's the bulge in his pants that catches my attention. I've read enough of those little romance books to know what that means.
