Chasing His Luna (Book 1 in Black Water Series)

Chasing His Luna (Book 1 in Black Water Series)

Instead, I stared ahead as though I hadn’t heard him speak, my mind trying to formulate a plan to get out of here. As though he could read my mind, the voice in the darkness chuckled. “I can almost see your mind working. You’re in a Silver Cell. Old, yes. But still effective for my purposes.”, he said. I swear I could almost see him in my mind, sitting there bringing his fingers together one by one, like a mad scientist with an evil plan, a cocky grin on his smug face. I was ready to bite, literally. “And those are?”, I asked, my voice sounding stronger than I felt.

The Rogues Who Went Rogue

The Rogues Who Went Rogue

Pellethia rummaged through the papers on her table for her phone as she muttered, “C’mon, where is it? Where is it?” Pellethia’s urgency and the persistent way she was picturing Lucianne in her head made something miraculous happen. Before she realized it, her eyes glazed over and her rummaging was brought to an abrupt halt when she heard Lucianne’s confused voice ringing through her mind, ‘Pelly, I don’t recall forming a mind-link with you.’

This bookie was as good as the first. I took a break from reading while dealing with my father’s passing so I love that even though there are sad parts, this book and your other Lucianne Paw book I have read so far. I can’t wait to get through the next and look forward to the last 3 books as well.

Loved all books so far!! I'm under the impression that (Chri-)Stina (?!) will surprise us further in the future! I would appreciate a relpy concerning whether she has ties with hellenic culture, since she is using lots of hellenic names in a specific story. Book #4 was a nice surprise for me!

CAKE's Evidence

CAKE's Evidence

LUKE MATTHEW THE GALLERY SHOWED two images: a nicely lit, brown painted room with a blindfolded child tied up on a chair, and a half-eaten vanilla cake is laid on the coffee table in front of him— which somehow sent chills through my body. I don’t understand why, but I had a bad feeling when I looked at the cake. “I know where this is,” the Detective spoke. Clearly, she’s back to her normal self. “This is in Baskerville. The brown walls gave it away.”

The Perfume On His Collar

The Perfume On His Collar

“That’s not possible.” He smiled. “It is the only possibility.” The First Memory The platform dimmed. The swirling galaxy beneath them slowed. Then like a film reel snapping to life images flashed under the glass. Shapes. Patterns. A child’s scribbles that slowly evolved into diagrams. Fragments of algorithms painted in glowing symbols. Neural maps spanning like roots from a central point. All of them converging into one shape: A mind. Clara’s vision blurred. “What is this?” “Your first memory,” the boy said.

he asked, his curiosity piqued. I gave a sly grin. "It's all about fair exchange, Mr. Sneyd," I said, knowing that he would understand what I meant. "Percy, I get it. We're all men here, and we don't need to say much. I'll just show you," Franklin said, leading me into his private, specially arranged room. Inside, there were various items—restraints, swings, handcuffs, benches, and all kinds of torture devices. There were also photos of nude women posing seductively on the walls.

My Mysterious Mate

My Mysterious Mate

LINDA'S POV~ My legs moved swiftly as I clutched my shawl, ensuring that it remained wrapped tightly around my neck. I approached the small, hidden door in the palace walls, and took a quick glance around to ensure I hadn’t been spotted. With cautious movements, I placed my fingers on the secret fingerprint sensor that would grant me entry. The door creaked open, and I cast one final look down the shadowy hallway. Seeing that it was empty, I darted inside, my heart racing.

My Little Mate

My Little Mate

I print the whole report in my mind, close the file, and then walk towards the window to check his surroundings and scan his mind to find his location. "So he is in his castle located on the west side of the forest," I thought to myself. I gather some more information from his mind. After that, I removed the thoughts he had when I entered his mind and made him think that he was walking toward the window while going through the reports and looking out of the window, lost in his thoughts. Then gets out of his mind after building back the walls inside his mind and lays down on the ground panting heavily due to exhaustion.

Her Beta's Heart

Her Beta's Heart

He was gorgeous when he smiled. “Tell me how you would do that.” She grinned and turned to face him again. He cursed himself for not remembering he could not read human minds, only the minds of his fellow wolves, and then an idea popped into his head. Something he had noted mentally when he asked Maria about Alisa the day she fell in the pool at his house. “Think about your favourite place in the world. The place you always want to be in. I’ll tell to you once I’ve read your mind. Now close your eyes.”

It looked like a spell. It was a spell. “This isn’t just architecture,” Mia said. “It’s memory-locked. The palace shifts depending on who lives in it, what powers dwell here. But something is trying to remember a version of this place from long before us.” Austin spoke first. “How do we find this memory-palace?” Mia touched the center of the map. “Where time breaks.” Austin’s POV We descended as a group. Stairs wound into the earth that shouldn’t have been there.

Read My Mind, Pay the Price

Ivy tugged at my sleeve and fretted, "Have you lost your mind? Are you seriously going to let them get away with this?" I smiled because I finally understood why Sophie had always known what I was thinking before I did. She hadn't used a hidden camera or any kind of AI algorithm. She definitely couldn't read minds either.
