Alpha's Regret: The Forsaken Luna

Alpha's Regret: The Forsaken Luna

I sipped it cautiously. "Better?" "A little." I wrapped my hands around the warm cup. "Does it ever get easier?" "The sickness? Yes. Usually by the second trimester." She settled into her chair, watching me. "The training? That gets harder. You're building muscle memory now. Later, we'll add shifting into the mix." "I haven't shifted since that first time." "I know. We're letting your body adjust." Nyx's expression turned serious. "But soon, you'll need to learn controlled shifting. Partial transformations. Holding multiple forms. It's the only way to survive."

Straying Echo: Fighting to Escape an Obsessed Alpha

Straying Echo: Fighting to Escape an Obsessed Alpha

Standing on my tippy toes, I pout until he leans down so that I can kiss him as I am completely unable to reach otherwise, because of our size difference. Looking around, I was shocked by the beautiful clearing filled with wildflowers and sunshine. Beaming at him, I gave him a quick hug before nervously playing with my fingers. I’d only ever started shifting once, and it was an unconscious action and we never completed it. Thankfully, Atlas seemed to know how I felt, and talked me through step by step, starting with removing our clothing so they wouldn’t be torn to shreds when we shifted. He talked me through every moment, including the worst part-the first shift is also the most painful, an

Fight how you would fight if he was a true enemy. I am a runner, I’m sneaky, and I am a shifter. I stepped up, dipping low, twisting my body on to the ground as I stretched my leg out, swinging it with force. The palms of my hand rest on the soft fabric beneath our feet, but my claws break through, and I can feel the cushion deep within. My leg hits the side of his knee, causing him to buckle, and lose that strong stance he took. He tries to catch himself from falling as I twist my body back up, lifting my knee high, making contact with his chin. His body begins to fly backwards. I grabbed both of his arms, pulling them out, separating them from each other as I pulled him back up towards me,

How to transmigrate in a proper way: A guide

How to transmigrate in a proper way: A guide

As for what adjustments, they come in many ways. Taking the current situation foe example, someone from the empire travels back in time to change the battle outcome. Because of that, the empire inevitably gain more advantage than the other sides, multiplying their chances to win. When the battle came though, inexplicable things started happening on their side- The field Marshall suddenly becoming sick, the spacecraft running out of fuel, the commanders and captains making mistakes, and so on. These things all seem very coincidental but they were in fact a form of adjustments from that space. For this reason, the overall result of the battle would still be the same and only the number of casu

The rhythm of their movement. Then— “Shift elevation.” Tomas frowned. “We can’t go higher.” “We don’t need to.” I pointed along the ridge. “We change where we stand, not how high we stand. Break their calculations.” “Constant movement?” Mara asked. “No. Patterned movement.” That caught her attention. “Not random,” I continued. “Deliberate. Repeating sequences that mean nothing.” “So they learn the wrong pattern,” she finished. “Yes.” A slow smile tugged at her lips. “That’s cruel.”

Reclaiming My Beloved Alpha

Reclaiming My Beloved Alpha

Edeline Shifting always came with a twinge of discomfort at first. My body had to adjust to the realignment of bones and muscles, molding into a different shape. “It’s always a bit painful at first,” I thought, feeling the familiar ache. “But after a few more shifts, it’ll be nothing.”

Her lessons also became a tad livelier. Stretching and warming up for the telematch, the three shifter children became serious. Their evening activity was at stake, and nobody wanted to lose. It was difficult to rotate decisions because nobody truly remembered who last decided on an activity. They often decided it using rock-paper-scissors, and it wasn’t the fairest method.

But they didn’t have an audience and when the pain hit her, the brother stopped shifting to check on her. Once he stopped shifting, her pain stopped. He didn’t shift enough to cause any damage to his sister the way Dylan did with Emma. Bound By Love And Prophecy

Bound By Love And Prophecy

Rebecca moved past us, stepping between Jessica’s trembling frame and the gathered Alphas. The convulsions wracked Jessica’s body over and over again, granting her only seconds of stillness before the next wave hit. “During my research in the family library,” Rebecca began, her voice calm despite the chaos, “I came across an ancient method. One that was used for cases that matched...Jessica’s.” She tilted her head toward her sister before shifting her piercing gaze back to us. “A method to force the shift.” Raymond’s face drained of color. “Wait—you don’t mean—”

Noah, an Omega's story

Noah, an Omega's story

" I said as I gently caressed his face. His eyes slowly closed as he leaned into my hand. Almost right away I heard the sound of his bones snapping and popping. He began to whimper and cry as his bones broke then realigned. "That's it, you're doing so good!" I said, running my hand through his hair then down his back, but staying away from the center, letting my hand run along the side of his back. It would only hurt him if I touched his spine as those bones broke and realigned. So I stayed away from them, but gently ran my hand along the side of his back where I knew it would feel good and soothe him. When you first shift, the bones break, and realign slower than they do for someone like me

Best book in the series! Even knowing bits of Noah’s story, this brought things to an entirely different level. Loved being able to get more details about so many of the characters, even if at times it was heartbreaking. So good!
