Sephora sheathed her new sword at her side, now dressed in her new armor, that was a lot more robust than her usual leather. Glancing over at her mate, who sheathed his own sword, before mounting his dark brown stallion. Sephora allowed a heart-beat of pride to bubble through, at the sight of him in his armor atop his warhorse, before she mounted her own. She'd been given a pitch black stallion, who impatiently stomped and scrapped his hooves on the cobble-stones, eager to ride into battle.

BOOM! The Shadow King shrieked in pure agony as the divine light burned through his dark armor, throwing him a hundred feet back across the snow! I dropped to my knees in the snow, gasping for air, clutching my stomach in total shock. Inside me, the golden spark was no longer just a tiny light. It was burning like a bright, living sun, surrounding my entire body in an unbreakable armor of golden fire! Valen smashed the last shadow beast away, leaping across the icy chasm and sliding to his knees beside me, pulling me into his arms. "Lyra! Are you okay?!"

"But I feel it now. I feel everything. I’m not scared anymore, Anna. I’m just angry." Anna pulled back, nodding solemnly. "Good. Use that anger. We're going to need it." Anna turned toward the center of the room. The 30th had arrived, and with it, the "Jameson" identity dissolved forever. She reached into the air, calling upon the McKinnley inheritance that now flowed through her like a river of molten gold. From the empty air, her battle armor materialized—crafted from dark, enchanted leather and reinforced with Filigree Silver that wouldn't burn her, but would melt any Devonshire who dared touch it.

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear she's not feeling well. I'll send dinner up. Regal hadn't seen her in a while and I figured you all could spend some time with him." This old man was going to force himself inside. I swept the room with my eyes making sure it looked like we'd been behaving and I went to the door. I opened it with enough force that dad and the baby flinched. "Hey little prince! I missed you." My mini stretched his hands and arms to me, the tiny gold name plate bracelet dangling from his left wrist. I had it custom made with a small tracker embedded it in and because he was a lefty like me, that's where it rested.

He sighed in relief and hugged me once I reached him. "We have less than ten minutes." I nod and look at all the warriors surrounding the barriers. Armor sat on all the wolves, the inside made of soft silk but the outside made of silver. Eli started to carefully put some armor on me, my legs wobbled at the weight. Victoria gave me some of her strength so I could actually stand up straight. Eli shifted next to me I couldn't help but smile at my new height. Someone put the armor on him, his legs being able to take it with ease.

She pulled back just enough to look at me. “What are you planning now?” There it was. Not if. What. I took a breath. “I’m designing armor,” I said. Her brows rose. “Armor?” “Personal combat armor,” I clarified. “For the Shadows. Lightweight. Flexible. Resistant to silver, wolfsbane, spell penetration. Something that doesn’t slow them down, but doesn’t let them die easily either.” Her hand tightened in my coat. “You’re preparing for casualties.” “I’m preparing to prevent them.”

The four of us parted ways to prepare, with them tucking in their children for the night, looking toward an uncertain future. I let my powers flow over my body. If I can create a key, a bird, and a blade with my powers… Why not armor? My mist swirls around me, casting me in tough, hard armor in a soft blue that hugs my body like a glove. When the mist settles, I’m totally covered up to the chin. I take a few steps away from the table, crossing through the door of the armory into the wide, open training area. I break into a jog, then a sprint, leaping and shifting mid flight. The armor made of mist shifts with me, turning to armor that covers my wolf.

He asked sarcastically, "But what does that have to do with me? Also, you said something about Wearson Valley and Light Armor. What do these things have to do with me?" The Black Bishop seemed shocked and responded, "You knew about Light Valley, and you have the Light Gloves. The Light Armor has finally appeared. Shouldn't you be happy about that? The Light Armor is from the middle dimension, after all. It's an armor created by the power of the universe's law from the middle dimension. It's almost impervious to all damage from the lower dimension. If you have the Light Armor, that's akin to gaining invincibility. No one can defeat you."

It was strong enough that it protected his frame yet looked like liquid silver. “Is your armor made from Tipanium?” I asked in surprise. “Yes, I need it to shift with me when I change to my wolf,” He replied hurriedly as he held my hand and began walking fast out of the room. We ran briskly, winding through the full palace halls. Despite it being the middle of the night, everyone was awake and moving about busily. “Arnou where are we going?” I tried to ask as we ran through hallway after hallway. He didn’t reply me but I didn’t think anything of it.
