The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

“Is this, like, the first time you encounter a kidnapping crime, Darrion?” “Hm? Yes? Why?” Darrion asked. “That’s exactly how crime works, buddy,” Jai smiled. “You wouldn’t know a person is a criminal until you catch them doing the act, or, you can prove that the person is responsible for the crime.” Darrion frowned, looking confused. “I know that. You don’t think I know that?” Jai only smiled and raised his eyebrows, making the blonde close his mouth and considered their conversation. It took almost a minute until everything sank into the windlet’s head.

The illusion Of Happily Ever After

The illusion Of Happily Ever After

Ava frowned, and Sam smacked her lips. “I am not narrating the story to you.” “But you are doing it in my bedroom.” “Then I will bring big sis to my bedroom,” Sam answered, and I massaged my temples. I usually enjoy their little sibling rant, but right now I was more focused on hearing about someone else. “Ava, please,” I pleaded, and she rolled her eyes, letting Sam go on with her narrations. “There was this man; he sold drugs to only adults, sold weapons and also counterfeit money. So he was a careful criminal who was against murder; he often helped the police catch murderers,” she started, and my interest got immediately piqued. Who was this criminal?

Flesh And Fire: A short story Collection

Flesh And Fire: A short story Collection

If a nation’s culture survives, then so too does the nation. These were the words that passed through Celeste’s mind as she eagerly awaited the train. The underground was a strange place at this time, a place where the underclass crawled from their hidden tenements and stalked the night. Nobody knew her habit. By day Celeste was a pretty normal girl. She generally kept herself to herself, and didn’t ruffle any feathers. By night, she was Franny McCandle, graffiti artist and vandal.

Break Me Apart (MxM)

Break Me Apart (MxM)

JAYCE BECKETT There are only two ways to catch a criminal: you either offer yourself as a bait to catch them, or wait until they get bored of playing hide and seek and surrender themselves. However, experience shows that the former is more likely, while the latter is unlikely to happen. Not even in a million years.

Lately, I love the M×M stories. They are more intriguing, especially yours! This novel was soooo good, and your interaction with your readers was definitely a plus! As I said before, "YOU ROCK!" Your writing is too notch, and I love your sense of humor! Well done, DARK. I can't wait for more!

Mysteries Next Door

Mysteries Next Door

That’s what saved you from ending up like those other poor guys. I just grinned and tapped my nose. Sitting alone at the kitchen table, I popped open a pack of ramen and flicked on the TV. "Today, our city was rocked by a spree of break-ins and murders, all targeting rich single men. The cops cracked the case wide open, rounding up a whole gang of suspects.” As I listened to the news anchor's report, I could not help but think there was some truth to the saying that after the storm is when the flowers bloomed.

Married to my fiancé's father

Married to my fiancé's father

The threat of my father loomed over my head, the damsel agreement of my family with the Santos was a noose around my neck, and I had no solid plan. Yes, kill evil old man and ma but the question was how. And then, how would I ensure I didn’t end up in prison? I mean, these people killed all the time and they got away with it! Mobsters must take some lessons somewhere along the way on how to get away with crimes. I need that damn book… Get away with crime for Dummies. I scoffed in my head. It didn’t take a genius to see that even if Ella and I got lucky and succeeded in killing my father and mother, the chances of us killing Santos were slim to none.

The Law Bound Enforcer - The Legacies Series - Book Three

The Law Bound Enforcer - The Legacies Series - Book Three

I let out, and her eyes widen. “What crime?” She asks, and I shrug, trying to pretend it was nothing important. I can’t tell her I am a criminal. I can’t tell her I am one of the most dangerous men she could ever meet. I can’t tell her that I kill people for a living, and I love the feeling of it. “I stole chocolate from a little shop when I was a kid on my birthday so I could give Dash, my brother, a birthday present,” I say trying for an easy one. It was true; I did that, so in theory, I am not lying to her.

This book was good and enjoyable but since the updates have stopped coming in a timely manner I feel like can we just skip to the end. Just a brief overview what happened since we left off to the end would be fine.

I haven't read the previous two books about Wyatt and Dash, ai sonehow came upon this one and started reading, then found out it's a series. So I already know Wyatt and Dash have kids haha, so maybe that's why this book it's more interesting to me, because I don't know the conclusion yet.

Sinfully Yours

Sinfully Yours

"Maybe even in the world!" I can see the cab driver's eyes on us in the rearview mirror. Yeah, if what Sammy says is true, I shouldn't spare the guy another thought. I do think she is overexaggerating, though. Biggest crime family in the world? Please, nobody in today's life and age gets away with crime anymore. Somewhere along the line, people get caught. The girls continue drinking and dancing when we get back to the apartment, and I should join them and celebrate becoming an official adult. Instead, I power on my laptop because I'm a martyr and type Alessandro Moretti in the search bar.

MAFIA ROMANCE MYSTERY

MAFIA ROMANCE MYSTERY

Charlie Brown knew what was going through everyone’s minds - the sudden rise in crime in this city had to have something to do with one or all of the major mafia gangs. But those guys were careful and meticulously planned their crimes in such a way that nothing could be traced back to them, so far the FBI had found nothing on them. As Halloway always said “In order to be a good agent, you’ve got to be able to think like a crook and anyone that knew the Mafia families well enough also knew that they had to commit a crime to cover up an organized crime which most times would lead to a slip up. Although it was going to be really hard, Charlie knew that she just had to be a little patient becaus

Submitting to My Best Friend's Dad

Submitting to My Best Friend's Dad

Becca would still be at the hall for another half hour, approving some final touches. Sitting in my office, I got set up in front of my computer, gazing at the various articles accessible to the public and growing. One of the headlines read 'Organized Crime Violence on the Rise in Florence' and 'Heist Breaks Bank of Over a Million.' The mafia was being blamed for that, no doubt.

This book started off amazing, now I feel like it is being drug out. I really hope the author starts releasing longer chapters and brings the book to a close soon. I really don’t want it to end up being one of those that never ends…
