I slowly opened my eyes, and to my horror, I saw two red sets of eyes staring back at me from a shadowy figure in front of me. I gasped in shock, realizing I was face to face with a vampire. The vampire stood before me, his features both alluring and terrifying. His skin was as pale as snow, with a hint of translucency that made it seem almost otherworldly. His dark, piercing eyes shone like polished onyx in the dim light, and they were fixed on me with an intensity that made my heart race.

He immediately turned to dust, and I told Cade, "Well, I guess that takes care of that one." Cade shook his head and laughed.
