I yelled breathlessly and they chuckled. "Even if I die today! I will rise from the dead and kill you all! Remember this you monsters! I'm going to come back for my revenge!... I'm going to avenge the death of my parents! I'm going to kill you all!". I vowed glaring at them maliciously. "Oh please little girl. Stop being dramatic and come here so that we can leave. You are wasting our time here". He said with a smirk. "I'M AMPHITRITE! QUEEN OF THE SEA AND I WILL NOT DIE WITHOUT AVENGING MY PARENTS!!". I growled with a voice that was unfamiliar to mine as I threw myself off the cliff into the raging water.

It took me some seconds to get myself together and the pain subsided a little, then I heard the shower running. I remembered being killed by Vincent and Mitchell, does it mean the Moon Goddess is giving me a second chance? I touched my cheek to make sure I was not a ghost, and I was able to feel myself, I am really alive, but how is this possible? I know I was killed a while ago, this is not happening, I will go back to sleep and wake up again. Not only that, but I closed my eyes, then I heard his voice,“Naomi, what are you waiting for? Won't you get your clothes off and freshen up?”

"Come on, Anna. Come with me and help me take on a physical form and I will show you a world you haven't experienced before. I can replace this puny mate of yours, proving far superior to him in every way." His words disgusted me to my core and I cringed. Asher let out a warning growl towards the demon, Blaze surfaced as Asher half-transformed, ripping his clothes.. "I will send you to hell, right now," Asher blazed and jumped toward the demon. The warriors side-stepped letting the two battle it out. Asher's shirt had half torn as his muscular torso grew hair and a special tattoo appeared on the side of his neck. It glistened because of the power of moonstones inside him.

“Have a seat, Leilah.” Colby assisted me in the seat in front of this Blake guy while he took the seat beside him. There were folders on the table and Blake is drinking wine. “Leilah, this is my adoptive brother, Blake Valentino. Blake, this is my biological sister, Leilah Rivera.” Colby introduced us. Blake reached out his hand. “Nice to meet you, Ms. Rivera.” His voice is sultry and wispy. It sounded like sea waves crashing inside my ears.

My heart only grew colder. Suddenly, it felt as though something inside me tore open. The effects of the drugs vanished completely, as if the invisible restraints had shattered in an instant. Beneath me, I felt a heavy mass dropping rapidly. I couldn't hold back the scream that tore from my throat.

My heart skipped but I maintained my stance and sank my nails into her flesh, sinking my teeth into my bottom lip. A dark cloud darted across her eyes and her grip around my neck tightened. "What did you say about my father, bitch?!" She growled in rage. I stiffened in shock and my eyes darkened as the realization hit me Valerie was back. She had subdued Asmodeus, and she wasn't just back to dominate her body and save the Lycan kings; she was back to seek revenge, to destroy. "If you didn't hear what I said then you wouldn't unlock yourself and come out," I wheezed, struggling to breathe as she choked me.

I could see the sweat on her brow now, the panic tightening her shoulders. “Move!” A burst of silver light shot past my ear, slamming into the feral. The creature shrieked, falling backward as steam poured from its chest. I whirled. Valerie stood at the edge of the trees, her red curls wild, her shirt stained, and her usual smile plastered across her face. Beside her was Damien, blood smeared across his cheek, waving his hand and cracking his fingers, smoke now fading from the tip of his fingers. Apparently, his abilities had to do with something close to electricity.

The mist from the amethyst formed a protective circle around me – I was electric panic, reaching for my sword, but I could not see through the amethyst as suddenly, it took the shape of a woman – A Valkyrie. "Don't let your foul hands sully my girlfriend!" came a familiar voice, as close as my own heart, as Yolanda, somehow from the grave of death, had risen. She was seven feet tall, with wings and a horned helmet and battle dress, spear on her hands as she stabbed Eleleth through the heart. "For the honor of Freida!" Yolanda – was I mad? – cried, rending Eleleth open to bleed albino butterflies. He smelled of mold and mildew.

“Show me what else you’ve got.” Aphrodite’s hand tightened around hers, grounding her, reminding her that this hunger, this power, was theirs to wield together. Vaethea leaned in, lips brushing Aphrodite’s, then pivoted back to the shadows with a low, predatory grin. The shadows writhed like liquid metal. Vaethea danced with them, shredding fragments, burning sections, yet the mass reformed. Every assault was beautiful, violent, sensual — a testament to her dual nature — but far from over.
