HIS QUEEN

HIS QUEEN

Shouts erupted at the table. A few slammed their hands on the table in disbelief. I heard things like: a halfbreed for queen? Others called me a common slave. Thane raised his palm and the table quietened. "That is unacceptable" a man with white hair shouted. All eyes were on me. Some with happiness, some with hate and some expressionless. Thane wiped his mouth gently with a napkin. "Is that a challenge?" "Not at all my king."

Definitely a must read!! 😍👍 Absolutely amazing story, very well written with a fantastic storyline and some wonderful characters! I was on the edge of my seat at times and literally couldn’t put the story down. I laughed, I cried and fell in love with the characters.

The House of Ash and Guilt

The House of Ash and Guilt

A young man stepped out, assisted by two servants, dressed in embroidered gold brocade and wearing a jeweled circlet. I'd recognize that face anywhere—even if it turned to ash. It was Matthew, my brother, who was supposed to be dead for over a year. The brother I'd given my life to atone for. He was back. Alive. Radiant. Dressed like a true prince of nobility. I hung there in the air, struck dumb as if by a bolt of lightning. My ghost trembled on the verge of unraveling.

MAID OF REVENGE

MAID OF REVENGE

How far could they let this dangerous desire carry them before everything shattered? Nathan closed the door and exhaled a long breath. He dressed quickly, his hands slightly unsteady as he pulled on a crisp polo shirt. The fabric felt restrictive against his still-heated skin. All morning, his thoughts had revolved around Ara—the few precious minutes they had stolen together had only deepened his craving. Every sweet, hesitant response from her had ignited something fiercer in him.

EJIMA

EJIMA

It was like any normal watermelon, just that it had two distinct markings on either side and on the center of the two marks, was a hole that ran from one side to the other. “What is this?” Ejima asked. “This,” Ngozi pointed to the watermelon. “Is a target melon” “Well?” Ejima shrugged. The glee in the eyes of the woman was causing more confusion. “Before the chief died, she predicted that you would shoot this target from a far distance and not miss.” “Ah, hilarious.” Ejima chuckled, “I didn't shoot anything…” She paused when she remembered the flaming arrow and the way she had stopped it. A sudden chill went from her bones, into every part of her body. Could it be that these people had predi
