What a waste of my time! Magnolia's face turned cold. Then, she let out a sharp laugh. "So that's what you really feel about all this?" The temperature around them seemed to drop. Quinton’s face went pale, and he fell silent in fear. But it was already too late. Magnolia had already pulled out a scalpel and slashed Quinton's waist in one swift motion. He stared at the wound, blood pouring out, disbelief written all over his face. Only then did the pain seem to register as his scream echoed through the hospital.

The silence was crushing. Carmina stood trembling, staring at Killian. He hadn't denied anything. Hadn't defended himself. Hadn't spoken at all. Just stood there with those cold, dead eyes locked onto her. And that silence shattered something inside her. "This stopped being about revenge months ago." The words came out raw. Desperate. Killian's expression didn't change. Carmina's grip tightened on her cane. "Everyone can see it," she said, her voice rising. "The staff. The guards. Me. Everyone knows what's happening to you."

Like my entire world wasn’t lying in pieces around my feet while everyone else stepped over them like it was nothing. I reached my car, opened the door, and sank into the driver’s seat. I didn’t even breathe until the door clicked shut. And when it did, when the outside noise disappeared and the car swallowed me in muted stillness, the silence slammed into me like a physical force. It pressed against my skull, my ribs, my throat, tight, suffocating, relentless. I slammed the steering wheel once. Then again. And again. “Damn it!” My voice cracked halfway. Damn it...damn it.

Then his hand reached up, fingertips grazing my cheek. He always wore the same damn expression. Blank, unmoved, like nothing in this world could touch him. But somehow, in the silence and the stillness, he made sure I and everyone else felt it all - the cold, the control, the darkness wrapped beneath his skin.

For them to cry blood? Ansif caressed her back silently. His action surprised him. But he let it leave. After few minutes, Simran pulled away and said “ You have not completed your revenge yet. Do the same thing my brother did with Aliyah , throw me on road like he did” Ansif watched her in shock. How could she say something like that. I drove towards the beach because in a few minutes, the sun will rise and I want to see my last sunrise before having my revenge later on at night. As soon as I arrived at the beach, I got off my motorbike. I took off my helmet and sat down on the sand feeling the cold sea breeze. I closed my eyes and tears started to come out from my eyes remembering why I'm starting my revenge today. I got up and opened up the seat cushion of my motor bike. I looked at the small brown envelope and took it out. I walked slowly towards the water and closed my eyes praying for my sanity to go for revenge.

"This hotel belongs to your uncle?" Nodding, he pillowed his head and lay on the floor, giving a click to the remote he held. The vault switched to a transparent top. "Here is where I speak to the silence, blame the world, and shed my tears." That somehow dimmed the glow hopping on her hand. She took a seat next to him. Under the soothing lights, his sharp facial features stood out even more, and so did his bottled loneliness. She understood the familiar silence. It was whispering, yearning to be heard after years of being ignored.
