Everywhere Roseanne looks, she only sees white fog which is gradually shrouding them in its arms as if like a possessive lover. She can make out the dark silhouettes of the tall trees in the forest but that is all. There are no animals, no sounds and no life in this strange forest.

Or did it want to show me something? With each step, the mist thickened, making it difficult to see more than a few feet ahead. Shadows flickered in the haze, creating an eerie and surreal atmosphere. I could hear whispers in the familiar sound of the wind, and the faint voices that seemed to echo from all directions.
