Silk Song Novelas e Histórias

Silas’s voice roared from below the staircase. Through the smoke, I saw Silas moving like a shadow. His white shirt was soaked in blood—none of it his own—and his dark hair was wild. He fired twice into the pillar, the heavy slugs shattering the marble and forcing the remaining mercenary out into the open. Before the man could recover, Silas stepped forward and put a single round through his forehead. Silas sprinted up the remaining steps, his chest heaving as he reached my side. He grabbed my shoulders, his eyes frantically scanning my body for injuries until he saw the blood on my white trousers.

“For what?” “For the world,” I said. “Silas wants Total Integration. He wants one voice, one frequency, one mind. But if we can broadcast the ‘Mountain’s Song’—this ancient, chaotic, beautiful dissonance—we can drown out his broadcast. We can give people back their own frequencies.” The drama of the night intensified as we began the “Work.”

They were both doing relatively well for themselves. It almost made me jealous…almost. His last song, ‘Rock me baby’ already hit 100k streams on spottily in less than a month. Well, Kyler aside… Silas bridged the remaining gap between us, then pushed me down into the soft bed then crawled over me. His body hovered just inches over mine. I just wanted to run my fingers through his white hair, so I did. It was just as soft as it looked. “That feels nice…” he hummed as he nudged my hand with his head. His warm minty breath tickled my nostrils. There was the faint smell of whiskey mixed in with his usual cologne and fresh breath, and my brows knitted together in a small frown.

I strip off the t-shirt and make my way into the water, goosebumps erupt on my skin from how cold the water is. “Alright Siren, time to come out.” I mutter. I can feel my Siren’s excitement as she pushes herself forward, my teeth sharpening to points, my eyes bleeding black, and my legs turning into a tail with beautiful iridescent blue scales. Time to sing bitch. Covey says with a cackle. And so, I sang, I started with one of my favorite songs Far Side of the World by the band Tide Lines from the Human Realm. The water starts to swirl around me as I sing, since there isn’t a command in my song, the water doesn’t go anywhere.

“You don’t know how difficult it must be for me right now, but I appreciate the sentiment.” Yikes! Even to my own ears that had sounded so cold. The silence that I had been intending to break stretched itself into an even deeper chasm of awkwardness. I sighed. Sandra’s voice was very soft when she finally spoke. “I’m sorry if I sounded presumptuous. Of course I have no idea what it feels like to be in your shoes… I was just trying to empathize with you because you’re my best friend. I am sorry if I offended you though babe. It wasn’t my intention in any way.”

Silas Song, who was in fourth place, took his spot and made his debut. Not just the hosts and the audience were stunned, but even people watching the live stream in the mall were frozen in disbelief. Aurora turned to Vespera and asked, "What's the deal with this Daxton guy? Quitting out of nowhere, isn't he afraid of getting blacklisted?" Vespera rolled her eyes and said, "Silas Song is from the Song family. It's not surprising he'd pull some strings to get into the top three." "The Song family?" Aurora wasn't sure if the Song family in the capital was related to the one in Seaview.

"I am an alpha. I don't walk out on a fight. If one day you become a mate to an alpha, male or female, then what? Will you be proud of yourself for running away like you do now?" Kinlsey gave him a lopsided smile. "I plan to be a working member of the pack. Not some mate to an alpha. I will live this life the way I want it. In peace. Like it's always gonna be." There was hidden meaning to it and Chester was smart enough to catch on. Not being able to use the link makes Kinsley hear nothing but static noise when he tried so hard to tap into it. "Just be careful next time. Fight back when you have the chance."

— My aunt is going to come with a beautiful twenty-hour speech, until the names of all the children we're helping come out and finally we're going to eat, drink and leave. “I haven't seen the boredom yet. - I say calm down. — Wait for the choir to start singing... — Silvério says. He sits by her side, just stares at the group on the bridge. *** Hell, I never thought I'd say this, but... : They were right. The song is almost sleepy, a slow song where nobody dances, they just face the group singing and playing a song that represents Jane's past, as she said. Oh, and the song only has one phrase every thousand notes...

“ Merilla, please help me!” I called out in my mind. There is no answer back from her, so I tried again. “ Merilla, I need you!” I hope I am doing it right, or maybe she can’t hear me because she is too far away. Our bond isn’t strong enough yet. “ Meara?” Her voice finally appeared in my head. “ Oh, thank God! Merilla, please come quick. This Barbarian of a king is carrying me off on his shoulder. He won’t let me go to have a moment to myself to think.”

It was time to go home from work, but Sira had yet to remove her earphones from her ears. She was still enjoying the songs from her favorite earphones. Even though she had stopped cooking earlier, and Sira had changed her work clothes to her regular clothes. Roy was not long in coming, Sira knew that but she continued to listen to her music casually. The song Sira was listening to was none other than “Sparkling Love”. The girl continued to listen to her music without paying the slightest attention to Roy.
