I knew all the rogues were chained with silver and locked in from the outside, but it still made me nervous. What were they doing in there? I thought I heard laughter, but that didn’t make sense, so I brushed it off, but the faint sound didn’t stop, and after a few more seconds I realized that it was growing louder. Within 10 seconds it was a full-blown cackle. It had to be Silas. I’ve never heard such a maniacal, evil laugh in all my life, and the sound made me shudder. “THEY HAVE ARRIVED!” He thundered triumphantly before the evil cackle took over again.

He looked at Silas and asked jokingly, "What was that for? Were you sent by Lihont to dislocate my shoulder? Do you want to break my arm so I wouldn't be able to type and find his base?" “Hahaha!” Silas laughed loudly, the sound echoing in the small room. He looked very happy and relaxed. "No, I'm not a spy," Silas replied, still chuckling. "But if I was one of Lihont's monsters, then I would definitely be the most handsome abomination in all of existence. Lots of girls would be lining up to be eaten by me." “Hahaha!!” They both laughed together, and the tension in the room began to melt away. Marcus pointed to a second chair, and they both sat down.
