Well this is definitely the silliest story I've written so far. If everything must be super serious, this story is definitely not for you. Alfi asked. "Hey, it”s a part of the story. It”s called filler, a short story that doesn’t relate to the main story. Then why did I put it? It”s because I had no idea what to write, so to avoid the reader”s bad review for me slacking off, I decided to put Kiki”s story to attract them." I explained "But why his story? I would agree if it were Herman”s or Kartika”s. Anyway, it”s a comedy fantasy story, right? We just don”t need such an inferior story!" Alfi exclaimed.

I smiled, intrigued by her enthusiasm, and leaned back in my chair, silently encouraging her to continue. Sophia launched into a series of stories, each one more silly and entertaining than the last. She told me about the time she had accidentally spilled coffee all over her shirt and had to walk out of the shop with a giant stain on her chest. She told me about the time she had tried to order a complicated coffee drink and had ended up with a concoction that was completely undrinkable. And she told me about the time she had met a friend at the coffee shop and had ended up getting into a heated argument with him over something ridiculous. A man hit by a car in New York in 1977 got up uninjured, but lay back down in front of the car when a bystander told him to pretend he was hurt so he could collect the insurance money. The car then rolled forward and crushed him I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon. “And I just… write things sometimes… stupid stories…” “Stupid stories?” She nodded. “Silly things.” I tipped my head. “That’s what they are, are they? Silly things?” Another nod, and I raised an eyebrow. “Well, that really is a shame considering I’ve just abandoned my family Christmas to drive back across the country on the back of these silly stories.” She couldn’t gulp a breath quick enough. “I made the cat up,” I continued. “A silly story of my own under the circumstances, so I think that puts us on a par with the falsities, don’t you?”

I replied and she smiled again. "No one would ever believe us or our story. That you married me forcefully. We look more romantic than the couples who have done love marriages." She said and giggled. I chuckled hearing her. She was right. No one would ever believe us. Not our future kids and grandkids. No one would believe our Stupid Love Story.

Once she collects herself as best as she can she speaks once more. "they were supposed to be stories," she states, her eyebrows drawing together. She seemed to be in shock. "Silas said some villages had simply disappeared overnight. He said the Kings were hiding something, that things at night were taking people, drinking blood," she battled, sobbing, "that children were missing and someone was hiding the dead-" she froze for a moment, "they were stories! Silas always tells stories!" she huffed, hugging herself as she cradled too and for, "he's good at stories. Very good."

Hugging her, he coaxed, "Alright, I'll stop teasing you. I'll tell you a real joke. One day, an elephant stepped on an ant hill. "The ants were furious and swarmed out of their home, planning to kill the elephant. They crawled toward the elephant's leg, but the elephant shook its leg, and the ants all fell to the ground. "Only one ant successfully climbed up to the elephant's neck. The other ants cheered. They shouted at the ant, 'Great work! You're the best! Strangle it! Strangle it! Strangle it!' "Encouraged by their high spirits, the ant thought that it could strangle the elephant for real. But after searching around the elephant's neck, it turned back to look at its tiny friends on the g

He grinned, wiggling his fingers mysteriously. “It’s called ‘Story Fingers.’ You take turns telling a story, but here’s the catch—you can only speak one sentence at a time, and you have to include a finger count with each sentence. For example, I start with ‘One fox ran across the river,’ and then you continue with two of something happening, and so on. It gets tricky, and hilarious, especially after a few rounds.” Jaiyana laughed, already intrigued. “Sounds… complicated. But fun. Okay, I’m in.”

I lied, wiping my face quickly with the back of my hand. He stayed. The rest of the night turned into something completely unexpected. Silas sat next to me on the couch and started telling ridiculous stories about his past jobs. He made terrible jokes. He mocked Julian's expensive suits and his arrogant attitude. For the first time in weeks, I actually laughed out loud. He cheered me up effortlessly. "You have a very strange sense of humor," I told him, laughing at his latest joke about a botched delivery run. "It works on you," he pointed out. He shifted closer to me. "You look much better when you smile."
