Rise of the Bloodstone King

Rise of the Bloodstone King

The Guards were in good hands, the kingdom had two new powerful and dutiful rulers, and the last person responsible for Athena's death was dead. "Still mulling over whether you made the right decision or not?" Silas's deep voice sounded from behind me as he approached. His boots squeaked against the grass, giving away his position for a male who was as powerful and supposedly deadly as Silas. He carried himself like a barbarian, constantly clunking his feet where ever he walked and always making so much nose. I guess he didn't need to worry about being seen or heard he was a deadly force; it was just comical to think about.

I’ve read the first three again and am reading dark promises again and the author has been working to this point from book one. Strongly recommend reading them all directly after each other so you can really see how brilliantly it is put together. Will read this in one go once completed

The fifth and final book of the Bloodstone series had a lot to over come and so far it has gone beyond what I expected. This author is truly amazing, there were so many things I didn’t realize were tied into this book and I love seeing all the pieces coming together. Can’t wait to see how it ends!

Dominion Academy: Rise of The Omega

Dominion Academy: Rise of The Omega

I slipped through the broken side door and crept down the row of old planters until I found the back storage crate. One knock. Pause. Two knocks. Pause. One more. The wood creaked open. “You again?” a voice whispered. Old, raspy, familiar. “You’re late, girl.” “Yeah, well,” I said, breathless, “I’m out. I need more. Now.” The man—Silo—stepped into the dim moonlight. His white beard caught the glow, making him look like a ghost from some forgotten time. He used to be a healer. Now he was the academy’s most discreet rule-breaker.

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

"We're at the building." A pause. "He's inside." Silas's voice had gone slightly careful. "The signal is — it's very strong from there. It's not just him. There's something else. A second frequency running alongside his." He went quiet for a moment. "It's mechanical. I think." "You think." "I've never felt a mechanical Void frequency before," Silas said. "But it doesn't feel like a person. It feels like a person's frequency, but—bigger. Like someone put it through a speaker."

the bodyguard's secret

He flinched at every creak of the old building, every gust of wind. **<< He’s… quieter… >>** Silas whispered, his voice raspy. **<< The cold… not gone… but… coiled. Like a snake… sleeping. Planning. >>** He turned his head, his gaze locking onto Leo’s with startling lucidity. **<< He thinks in… blueprints. Cold rooms. Steam. >>** A shudder ran through him. **<< The Hive… he called it… once… in the dark… when he thought I was asleep… >>** **<< The Hive? >>** Leo leaned closer, his pulse quickening. **<< Where, Silas? What is it? >>**

into existence. "They’re 'Reading' us, Lyra," Silas whispered, his voice sounding like a recorded echo. He felt a sudden, sharp vibration in his marrow, as if a massive, invisible finger were tracing the line of his spine. "It’s not a gaze anymore. It’s an interaction."

The Alpha's Secretary Mate

The Alpha's Secretary Mate

With a terrifying animal roar that shook the loose metal sheets of the shipping containers, Silas lunged forward like a streak of golden light, his extended claws cutting through the dark to meet the first wave of paralyzed fakes. I slammed my data cable into the terminal port, my fingers flying across the tablet screen as the blue upload bar began to crawl across the glass. The final audit of the Shadow Council's supply chain had officially begun, and the secretary was here to close the account.

From Prison To Power: The Ex-Wife's Vengeance

From Prison To Power: The Ex-Wife's Vengeance

He kept thrusting through his orgasm, pushing his seed deeper, grinding his pelvis against my clit until I came a third time, milking every last drop from him. I collapsed against his chest, shaking, ruined, covered in sweat and cum and my own juices. My pussy throbbed around his softening cock, still leaking. I pressed my face into his neck, breathing him in, whispering his name like a prayer. “Silas… my Silas…” Silas’s POV I was a shadow hiding in deeper shadows. I stood twenty paces back, hidden in the wild laurel bushes, body frozen like stone. I had flown into Italy three hours earlier, a ghost slipping across borders because of one message that set my blood on fire: The Pillage continu

The Billionaires 10th Bride

The Billionaires 10th Bride

Cold air escaped through it. Different from the mansion above. Heavier. Drier. Like air that hadn’t moved in a long time. My skin reacted instantly. Silas shifted his stance slightly. Protective. Controlled. Alert. The seam widened further. Then stopped. Silence returned for half a second. Then something spoke. Not a voice. A sound shaped like pressure. Low. Fragmented. Almost human. But not fully. My breath caught sharply. The sound repeated. Closer this time. Silas’s voice dropped.

Frequently Asked Questions

I actually bumped into this because I burned through my Audible credits. 'The Chamber' is on Audible, obviously, but I was looking for a free option. My local library uses the Libby app, and I managed to borrow it from there without a wait. The narration by Arliss Howard is pretty solid—he nails the grim Southern atmosphere.

I’d say Libby is the first stop, since it’s free if you have a library card. Audible is reliable if you’re a subscriber or want to buy it outright. I’d steer clear of random YouTube uploads; the audio quality is usually terrible and they get taken down fast. I listened to most of it on my commute, and the legal routes just make the whole process less annoying.
