Silver Wings Book Novels & Stories

“I don’t know all the details. Your mother was very secretive, very protective. But I know it was someone powerful. Someone within the werewolf world. Someone who’s still out there.” A knock on the door made us both jump. Mira stuck her head in. “Guards are making rounds. We have to go. Now.” Sarah pulled me into another fierce hug. “Be safe, Aria. Be smart. And when your wolf finally awakens, remember, you’re not worthless. You never were. You’re a Silvermoon. You’re royalty. And one day, you’ll make them all pay for what they’ve done.” She pressed something else into my hand, a small pouch heavy with coins. “It’s not much, but it’ll help you get started wherever you go. Now run. Mira will

She just stood there, blade lowered at her side, breathing as though the world had just collapsed on her shoulders and she was trying to hold it up with trembling hands. I forced myself forward, each step a punishment, my side bleeding, ribs grinding, vision tunneling. Every instinct I had was screaming to reach her, shield her, pull her away from all of this. But the rogues noticed. Every single pair of feral eyes turned toward me. The silver wolf. The outsider and enemy who had nearly killed their king. A few wolves growled low, threatening. One tried to step forward. Rowan blocked him with a snarl. Elias's blade glinted near the throat of another who twitched the wrong way. But none of th

However, soon my stomach roiled violently. I bolted to the bathroom and vomited up everything I’d just eaten. The hollow weakness in my body dragged me back to that moment closest to death. I’d been tortured until I was barely alive. Afraid of answering to Daniel if I died, they called in a healer. She skimmed my test results, her brows knitting into a hard line. “Your silver poisoning has seeped into your bones, and your wolf soul is dormant. You won’t live long. “How long is your sentence? Three years? Perfect. You’ll die not long after leaving Silver Prison. No need to dirty the cell with your corpse.”

How strange. “Both,” he says, kissing the side of my head. Lily gives us a funny look, but her excitement over the prophecy pushes any question she has aside. She turns the book toward us. “We call this the Silver and Gold Prophecy.” I lean over and begin reading. ‘With dragon's love And dragon's light The last of their kind Will again unite. With magic so pure And love so sweet Together they'll see When at last, they meet. She who was lost

"The Wolf Queen wants another child." Kael said it while unfastening my nightdress. "You bear easily. Carry one more for her." Ten months later, I gave birth to a silver-eyed daughter. The midwife cut the cord, wrapped her in black cloth steeped in scent-severing herb, and carried her from the room before I could look twice. She was the second. Everyone at court knew that Seraphine had destroyed her moon-vein saving Kael and could never bear an heir. Otherwise, no daughter of Silvercrest would have been welcomed into the Wolf Keep. To Kael, I was never a partner. I was the Moon-Bound woman chosen to give the Wolf Queen children and the royal line its blood. No one asked whether I consented w

The cloud of silver light particles did not fade into the mist. Instead, it expanded, twisting into a vortex of violet wind that swept through the quiet sanctuary, scattering blue ferns and white marble dust across the ancient floor. A figure stepped through the center of the light. She was breathtaking in a way that felt predatory, a high-born framed by raven black hair pinned with silver needles, her dark eyes glittering like black diamonds beneath pale, flawless skin. She wore a grand, sweeping robe of silk and starlight-silver armor, her high collar embroidered with the crest of House Silverwing, a double-headed hawk clutching a blood-red moon. Around her wrists hung golden charm-bracel

“How can I ever thank…Sylvanius, what is this?” The water dragon had shifted its gaze right to Seraphina and was glaring down at her. “I do believe that I said I swore an oath,” Silver said, lifting Amy into his arms. “You will not hurt the woman I swore an oath to.” Seraphina’s face twisted in rage and in a plot second, vanished, replaced with an eerie smile. “You seem to think I cannot kill you.” Silver glanced at Seraphina and then snorted. She flew into a rage and shot a ball of fire towards him. It landed on his body and vanished up in smoke.

I say closing the book. He looks at me momentarily before he has a realization that something is wrong. “Basically, what it says is that a silver wolf can help support the healing when someone is infected with silver,” he says. “Is that not a little ironic?” I ask half laughing. What are the odds of that being true?

But the long and short of the story was that Alaric Macintyre would not have been able to do all that he had done… he would not have been able to rain this much terror on innocent people— would not have been able to cause this much destruction had the Silver Witch and all those she was referring to as her sisters not helped him in the first place. “I get that, and I guess I deserve it,” The Silver Witch admitted gracefully, “But you’ll come around eventually and see reason— see that it is indeed the only reasonable course of action. For it’s not as though you would exactly succeed should you try a counter attack anyway.” She winked and started to walk away— her white garments not once sullie

In recognition of something ancient. Then the attackers tried to regain courage. A winged wolf dove toward her, claws out. Nyra moved. She became a blur. She launched upward, one hard beat of her golden wings, and met the diving wolf mid-air. Her claws, gold, sharp, gleaming, hooked under its wing joint and ripped. The winged wolf screamed, wings tearing. Nyra twisted, still airborne, and drove her teeth into its throat. One clean bite. The winged wolf went limp in her jaws. Nyra flung it aside. It hit the ground like a sack, dead before it landed.
