The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

"Valkyrie Two and Three, deploy Silvermist protocol. Blanket the target area." The other two drones swooped low over the ocean, their wings angling with impossible grace. They released a fine, shimmering mist from their dispersal pods, a glittering cloud that descended upon the churning water. The "Silvermist" was one of Katherine's more elegant and brutal inventions: an aerosolized silver nitrate compound, molecularly bound to a clinging agent. Harmless to humans, but agonizingly, flesh-meltingly corrosive to most supernatural creatures, especially werewolves and the magically summoned beasts they controlled.

The White Rose Of Damnation

The White Rose Of Damnation

Not yet. Rea's wings moved behind her. Slowly, gracefully they spread, like two arcs of white, shimmering silver at the tips. The soft light of the bath filtered through the feathers, as if she had brought a fragment of another world with her. As she fully unfolded them, the wings gently curved around them, folding inward like a tent, like a living shield. The outside world vanished. Only the two of them remained—and the silence of the water.

Forbidden Love... Or Maybe Not?

Forbidden Love... Or Maybe Not?

Because from her back— Light began to shimmer. Soft at first. Then brighter. Golden particles gathered like fireflies before dawn. Fabric at her shoulders shifted slightly as something pushed outward. The faint outline of wings began forming beneath the glow. Saraya kept crying, unaware. Behind her, magnificent golden wings slowly erupted—large, radiant, translucent. They unfurled gracefully, glowing like sunlight through glass. The entire hall fell silent in awe. King Basil straightened. Phoenix’s jaw dropped. Vidhant whispered, “Whoa.”

World Of The Vampires

World Of The Vampires

He stood on top of the largest building of the city, he watched as he saw lots of blood being split on the floor. "You will pay for what you did!" Silver shouted as he change his form into that of a psychic vampire. He had a silvery-white hair, and a pair of blue wings that can be extracted and concealed within him. He was wearing a blue robe and by his right hand, he held a sword. The Dragon Sword. He went through the gate of the city and slayed those standing by the gate. "Come on out you scumbags, You have just tampered with another person's property and you shall all be punished by me!!"

Lycan Healer

Lycan Healer

"Winston, ask your people to stay in a place where a winged creature can't easily fly into. Somewhere narrow! Avoid going to open spaces, and make sure that none of you will touch any of the healers' weapons. They are made of silver!" Silver is poisonous to were-creatures. It shuts down their ability to regenerate from injuries, causes a burning effect, and generally ruins their day. Healers know this, so basically, healers have spears that are purely made of silver to hunt lycans. "I know what to do. Just go back, Luceethe, and fold your wings!" "There is no use hiding it; everyone saw me already!" "Luceethe! I said, Fold your wings!" "I am trying to help here! I don't want any of the Lycan

King of the Seditious

King of the Seditious

But the entire thing glittered like a clean coin in sunshine. Dragon wings? Savage dropped and landed on the back of one Targue. Straddling it as though he’d mounted a horse. He stabbed it several times in the back and side before reaching down and running a deep slit up the side of its neck. When another dived toward him he dropped to the side of the one he’d sat on. The wings falling flush against his back before evaporating in an instant. It collapsed the other way. As the one went over him he lurched up to stab it in the stomach. Letting its own momentum carrying it over him drag the knife down its belly and spill its innards.

The Queen's Mate

The Queen's Mate

Confusion riddled my features, "My wings aren't white or fully gold to rule." "You were born to rule," Zora squared her shoulders and lifted her chin in the air, "that's why you were willing to give up everything for your people. Keep your wings hidden. No one's seen what they look like. When the time comes for you to take your place, all they will see is a set of white wings that emerged from your mating bond." "You can't be honestly suggesting what I think you are," I stared at her flabbergasted. "I am," holding her hands out—palms facing up, a blinding white light flashed into existence before vanishing just as quickly. In its place, lying on her palms, sat the second half of the book. Zo

To the author, can you please just inform us of the status of this book. I understand that you have a life and things which are none of our business but as fans/ customers I still believe we should at least warrant an explanation concerning if this book will go unfinished. Please and thank you.

The Silver Dragon

The Silver Dragon

Thank you for pushing through and finishing book 1. Please let me know what you think! Book 2, Family Secrets is where I will publish any and all sequels. I am in the process of changing the title name to just The Silver Dragon Series. I plan for there to be a total of 6 books. Books 1, which you just read, through 3 will be Davina and Derek's journey to defeat those after her so she can live in peace. Book 4 will follow her daughter Maliyah, Book 5 will follow her twins and book 6 will follow her last child.

You Rejected A Silver Wolf

You Rejected A Silver Wolf

Vanessa barked at me. She didn’t understand, none of them did. Your Silver was the real enemy here not me. “Beta Ray, you are sure you didn’t meet that silver wolf. We really need to clip his wings now!” I barked. “Your Silver only defended himself. Beta Gaius must have attacked him first.” Ray replied. My Delta sighed. “Are you siding with a rogue who killed a Beta of an ally pack?” he glared at Ray. When Ray met his gaze he looked down.

Vows of Silver and Sin

Vows of Silver and Sin

"She smells of old ink and terror. Tell me, little Scribe, can you see the way we all die just by touching our wine glasses? Or is your gift as limited as your lifespan?" I felt a surge of cold anger. These weren't just mobsters; they were nightmares in silk ties. I reached out and picked up my silver fork, feeling the history of the metal—the hands that had polished it, the mouths it had fed, the secrets whispered over it. "I see enough," I said, my voice projecting with a strength I didn't know I had. I looked Ligeia straight in her iridescent eyes. "I see that this silver was mined from a grave. And I see that the woman sitting across from me is deathly afraid of the dark. Is that why you

I've been carrying a dog-eared copy of 'Silverwing' in the back of my mind since childhood, and I still get a little thrill every time I check the imprint. Kenneth Oppel's 'Silverwing' was first published in 1997 by HarperCollins — specifically the Canadian arm of the publisher, since Oppel is Canadian and that’s where the book first appeared. It's the debut of a bat-focused adventure that went on to be the first book in a beloved trilogy, followed by 'Sunwing' and 'Firewing'.

I dug into this book as a kid in the library, and seeing HarperCollins on the spine felt like an invitation to something big. After its initial 1997 release, the novel found its way into other markets and editions, so you’ll see different printing years and publishers depending on the country and format (paperback, hardcover, later reprints). There was even an animated TV adaptation in the early 2000s that rekindled interest for a new generation. If you're tracking down a first edition, look for the 1997 HarperCollins imprint — that's the one that introduced Shade and the rest of the bat world to readers.

If you want details like ISBNs or later U.S. publishers, I can help hunt those down — sometimes first editions and international editions have surprising differences in cover art and extra notes, which is a little thrill for a collector or just a curious reader like me.
