Since she had no clue what even Silver was talking about, she couldn’t comment. “He will be fine. He is an Alpha King, he will come back soon,” Zion held Silver’s hand to calm her down. “But what did you do to him? What did you do, Silver?” Layla had her voice toned down, but it was because she was filling herself with energy. “I did nothing. He wanted me to help him, so I did.” it offended Silver that Layla always took her actions wrong. She had always accused her when Silver’s intentions were just pure.

"Valkyrie Two and Three, deploy Silvermist protocol. Blanket the target area." The other two drones swooped low over the ocean, their wings angling with impossible grace. They released a fine, shimmering mist from their dispersal pods, a glittering cloud that descended upon the churning water. The "Silvermist" was one of Katherine's more elegant and brutal inventions: an aerosolized silver nitrate compound, molecularly bound to a clinging agent. Harmless to humans, but agonizingly, flesh-meltingly corrosive to most supernatural creatures, especially werewolves and the magically summoned beasts they controlled.
