Simon Ghost Riley Mga Nobela at Kwento

“Then tell me what you’re hiding from me!” The edge on his words slices cleanly through my mind. I keep looking at my feet, and I feel my legs trembling, worried that I’ll lose control, that my legs are about to send me tumbling down the stairs, and then … Clamping my arm over my stomach, I shudder helplessly. Another man’s face flashes through my mind—different words, a different time, but all too similar to this. Simon is a ghoul who still haunts me. Every time I think I’m free from him, I realize I’m not.

Bury her beneath rumors and warnings, make her a myth mothers told their daughters. My phone buzzed. Another report. “Failed again. Target protected by unknown male. Suspect: Simeon Moretti ”. I leaned back the smile spreading on my face. Simeon. That was unexpected. He was testing my patience. He was supposed to be a ghost, a myth of his own, the Bloody Vultures bloodline was as brutal as it was loyal.. But maybe Sarian had gotten under his skin too, maybe he loved her. Or maybe he was just as stupid as Julio. Either way I’d deal with him soon enough

He didn’t close the space between us, just stayed close enough that I could feel the ache in him to do more. Simon came running into view, his jacket torn and smeared with blood. His eyes landed on me, narrowed with something between urgency and worry. "Have you seen any changes in the vampire civilians? Any shifts in behavior, anything strange?" he asked, before his gaze flicked to Richard and stayed there. "She heard something," Richard said, his voice low but unsteady. "Inside the signal." Simon stopped mid-step. "What did you hear?" "Not words," I said. "Feelings. Sorrow, grief, memories that didn’t belong to me."

Simon was there, but now he was alone. Simon was waiting for me with a glass of whiskey in his hand. He smiled, a smile that was anything but professional but full of ulterior motives. “Two surprises in one night,” he commented, his tone amused. “You must have run into your cousin at the entrance. What’s her name again?” “Maia…” I replied, nodding toward the door. “She was spying. Probably sent by Aaron.” Simon merely shrugged, unsurprised. “I figured. I just didn’t expect your visit. I think you arrived at the right time.”

Simon ordered “Okay… we will. Is Dad ok?” Raymond inquired “Yeah, he will… I should hang up now buddy” Simon replied and hung up. After Simon hung up, he went with backups to Rex's direction while they assigned agents to try putting them back on track. They got to where Rex car was packed, and he was not there. Suddenly, due to the high intellect they have in their force, they were able to track them. So, they called Simon and the men he was with and gave them the location to follow.

Maisie was speechless as the man shook her hand. " I am Dashell woods, I love the way you go through your cases like it is nothing. It is just like the way that Zach goes through his cases when he has them. And he made sure that everything went smoothly. You did the same. " the other man took her hand after Marcus had released. " Err, thank you?. " Maisie said in a question form. " We are five, where is the last of us. " Cathy asked with a bite in her tone that made Maisie knew that she was jealous.

Razel let out with a dominated tone. "who you think you are, to command me! you're just a new student, your look like a rat in front of a lion" Simon mockingly said. Yet, Razel just smirks. "do you think that a rat was not dangerous? you're all wrong because I can kill you while you're sleeping." After that Razel pulled my hand, tried to drag me however, Simon held my other hand and pulled me in the other direction. "Get off of her" Razel said gently, yet, you can feel the tension in every word.
