Maybe it's your way of telling you that the water is fine.”

We stood up stiffly from our spots on the cold floor, our thin clothes doing little to protect us from the chill. "Ugh, that damn siren," Serene growled as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. I reach for my staff, I grab it and use it as a defence weapon "Who's it?".

But none beats a Siren in terms of revenge though. They follow what we call as revenge. For sirens, it's a game. They turn the person they want into their slaves, driving them to the brink of insanity only to feed on their victims and leaving bones in a sacred cave. Sirens are the most feared group of people in the entirety of the world. And the dark forest is decided to be their residence.
