Pirate Princess: Mated To The Merman CEO

Pirate Princess: Mated To The Merman CEO

Brochures fly past my face, and a vendor screams when his parasol snaps away. "No, come back!" I turn around, and my heart stops in my chest when a terrible song vibrates through the air. Thunderclouds are rolling in from a distance, and I can already determine the ocean wishing to climb up on land, enchanted to do so by the mystical voice. "SIREN!" "TO THE LIFEBOATS!" Confusion hits me when pirates and ordinary folks run for the beach, leaving everything behind them. A shudder of discomfort strikes me, and then I pick up on the song again, closer this time, the mystical melody loud enough to make a person's ears bleed.

The Song of Us

The Song of Us

"Selly, a merman's scale is one of the rarest spirit tools in this world. In my last life, I dared not easily show my form, for fear others would want to tear my scales off me. But today, I swear upon this scale that I'll protect you for the rest of my life. All I ask… is that you turn back and look at me once more." Zirion's voice was heavy with grief. It was almost like a cry of lament. Selene felt her heart soften at that. Had this been her past self, she might have agreed at once. But in this life, she couldn't do the same. She could no longer trust Zirion to have her back. She had to think about every word he spoke in her mind countless times. She couldn't help but wonder if there was s

The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

I commented, my hair lifting as the portal closed behind us. We were at the coast. I could smell the salt water on the air, hear the wash of the tide against the sand. There was a song in the sound of the ocean that I felt in my bones. I closed my eyes. I could almost hear a million voices lifted in harmony. The hair on my arms stood on end. “I did not consider the effect of bringing a siren to the seas,” Rivyn murmured near my ear. “You can hear it calling to you, can’t you?”

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

The Last Female Alpha

The Last Female Alpha

I sit down and leave the image of Kakia up as I take a bite of my food. "Why is she scared of you?" Eva asks. "People from the underworld can't tolerate a siren singing. It's like the effect a dog whistle has to a dog." Oh shit, I'm sitting with werewolves. I shouldn't have said that. At least they don't look mad. "Can you sing for us?" Sienna asks. No one ever asks me to sing. I jump up and begin swaying. "Yes." I close my eyes as I sing a song with no words but speaks to people's hearts. It's filled with longing and loneliness. When I'm done, I open my eyes, and everyone is staring at me with their mouths open.

The Overweight Omega and Her Three Knights

The Overweight Omega and Her Three Knights

The choir faltered again, their voices dipping for a heartbeat before rising sharper, stronger, trying to drown me out. My chest heaved. My head pounded. Every muscle burned to keep from slipping closer to the pool. I tightened my grip around his neck and stared into his eyes again. " Stop!" I yelled at it watching as it suddenly went silent. Even in a choir, silence from one voice could tear the whole thing apart. The instant the siren in my grip went mute, the song cracked like glass. The others flinched in the pool, their rhythm breaking. My claws dug deeper, holding the siren’s throat tight. “That’s right,” I hissed through clenched teeth. “You obey me.”

My Alpha's Betrayal: Burning In The Flames Of His Vengeance

My Alpha's Betrayal: Burning In The Flames Of His Vengeance

Coughing, I rolled over, tumbling to my feet clumsily and pulling off my jacket that was now weighing me down. Goddess! What was going on? Where was the siren? I was almost to the captain when the same eerie beautiful song made me stop. It was powerful, ethereal, and I felt my eyelids becoming heavy. Sirens. I had been right… They’re here… No. I am Yileyna De'Lacor, and there was no way on Kaeladia that a siren’s song was going to get the better of me! I clenched my fists, letting my nails dig into my palms, the pain keeping my mind clear.

This was a bit of a hard read with all the dark scenes but I love the world-building and the complexities of the many different characters in this story. Many may hate the male lead, but, i think, it’s one of the most beautifully written character arcs I’ve read. Loving this author more and more.

The Silent Scream

The Silent Scream

Ciara and Rosie is like that kind of silent people who doesn't talk that much unless it's needed. "No we didn't." I moved our of the car and they both follow but stops just near the car while I goes to the gate and put my finger print there. Yes our gate is powered by finger print locked. The security could actually open the gate for me but I didn't bother to tap the door bell and just directly put my thumb finger to the finger print scanning tab and it immediately opens.

My Lord Alpha

My Lord Alpha

Just as he arrived, he saw that his mate was halfway being pulled away through his portal by a siren. Sirens were female creatures, half bird and half woman with alluring voices, their power rested in their melodious voices. They could vocally make one fall under their spell and persuade them to do their bidding. Usually, they used dreams or hallucinations as a means to lure the individual out of consciousness so they would let down their guard. Only weaklings would fall under the spell of a siren, he was no weakling. Such couldn't be said for his fragile little human mate, who was now following him silently as they walked back to the house.

Awesome story, great job Author!! I can’t wait to read part 2. You painted a great picture with your story telling. I absolutely loved reading Candice and Wayne’s love story, can’t wait for what’s next!!
Orion Steele
When I saw the title "The Lord Alpha" , I was like 'what the hell is this book about?' It never disappointed though. Wayne and Candice so much reveals how twisted our fates could be at times and I kept imagining how it'd be if I suddenly uncover my spouse was a mermaid or something weirder even...
