"Her immune system is weakening. The Siren's Affliction will progress faster. You must be more vigilant. Remove all hard surfaces from your home." Liam's eyes grew wet. "I understand." The doctor's words only solidified his decision. The moment the door closed, he called his assistant. "Get Isla enrolled at the Institut Alpin in Switzerland. Money is no object. Handle her transfer and enrollment immediately." He turned to a dazed Elara and pulled her into a gentle hug. "It's alright, my little siren. She'll be gone. You'll never have to see her again." Elara looked up, a strange emptiness in her gaze. "Good." A deep, cold sorrow filled me. You won, Elara. No one will ever steal your spotligh

Just as he arrived, he saw that his mate was halfway being pulled away through his portal by a siren. Sirens were female creatures, half bird and half woman with alluring voices, their power rested in their melodious voices. They could vocally make one fall under their spell and persuade them to do their bidding. Usually, they used dreams or hallucinations as a means to lure the individual out of consciousness so they would let down their guard. Only weaklings would fall under the spell of a siren, he was no weakling. Such couldn't be said for his fragile little human mate, who was now following him silently as they walked back to the house.

It was way too brutal but amazing. But I just closed my eyes when the siren with red hair screamed hideously. I don't know but we hear it all and I feel like my eardrums are about to burst. I felt like I was going to bleed because my head felt like it was going to explode because of the death screams of the two sirens, but it stopped when the surroundings became chaotic. The knights attack the two sirens. The attacks of the knights followed one after the other. They manipulated the waters and threw their tridents like a boomerang. Knights were flying around, obviously, they couldn't take the two sirens lightly.

He moved his pawn as he spoke. "I think you might be the first person to call me good." I admitted. "I guess compared to most other sirens you're more of a saint." He laughed, and I knew he was right. Some of these sirens pulled in the darkness in our beast. They stuck to the ancient ways of luring humans into the ocean, drowning them, and then feasting on their bodies. That's what we had seen on the shore that day. My father was there, but only to make sure that they weren't caught or recorded. He doesn't participate in those huntings.

Sirens are dangerous creatures that consumed the Greeks with their vocal lies. My life is a web—an intricate entanglement of the choices I have been forced to weave. I've created a web and have pinned Selah in the middle of my problems. I'm the hungry spider that feeds on the fly that she is. When my web breaks, I spin another barrier.... another lie. I wrap Selah around and around like a mummy for later consumption.

I cried, resting my lips on his cheeks in an attempt to lessen the pain he was going through given his loud groans and the sweat forming on his forehead. The Siren's Song, lethal to anyone unfortunate enough to hear it, is the reason why sirens are as intimidating as they are rumored to be. Undefeatable and inescapable. Written about in the archives of military war plans concocted over the centuries, never been used in the past 500 years. Forbidden magic, only used as a defense to deter persons from a fight, is never meant to be practiced. Yet here I am, killing my only source of happiness left in this world of desertion and betrayal.

I tried once again as this time she turned. "No"- These two letters left my mouth as I saw her face. A siren. She was a siren who was luring us to our death. But before I could do anything, the Sirens pulled up from the waters and attacked us. the soldiers were ahead of us, was caught and dragged down the water causing them to drown and die. John tried to fight them but they were too many. He said-" I cannot stop them anymore... Swim further..." Brad said-" Come with us"

Denise said. "You almost killed him, you almost killed everyone of us" Bella stayed with no other words to make her listen to her. "You think I don't know that" Denise answered seating on the sofa, she couldn't forget that she had almost killed each one of them most especially Bella and Coast, she couldn't even look at Bella in the face. Bella took out a book and read, "The sirens are mythical creatures summoned for revenge, when summoned they take the body of a host and manifest their revenge, the host however preferable human can never escape the sirens until the work is done.

Blood lust is the only thing the room could feel, one of those arrogant sirens his mate, how absurd, he feels no connection with any of them rather than wanting to tear them apart. “Sirens?” Arnoux asks, bringing Dean’s anger and bloodlust down, “in land, I haven’t seen any since her majesty the siren queen died.” “For good reasons, I think they should stay at sea,” Dean snorts, “they are savage creatures.” “You really need to fix your darn attitude; your mate could be a siren.” He sighs thinking about the possibilities of one of those sirens being his mate, if it is true, it better not be that Avisa girl, even her name makes his heartbeat fast, with anger he assumes.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, we’ve reached cruising altitude and will be turning off the cabin lights. This is for your comfort and to enhance the appearance of our car driver.” Brett sang as he turned the headlights off for the nth time today. I could sense the heat radiating from Sean’s ears as Sapphire snickered back a laugh. I tried not to break into a grin at Brett’s pretentious-girl-flight-attendant’s voice. He’s made it his mission today to not let Sean be at peace. He is hell-bent on annoying the hell out of him.
